AnonD-467404, 25 Nov 2015Forbes says Microsoft to sell Xbox. but what's wrong. ps3 w... moredifference was ps3 was released year later than xbox 360,had better hardware with bluray support and full backwards compatibility to ps1 and ps2 1st few years

here ps4 and xbone were released at same time, with xbone having weaker hardware,no additional multimedia features and while it has some backwards compatibility it largely depends on developers adding it

and also there is a fact of all playstation so far being supported for over 10 years and 1st xbox didn't last even close to that and ms is already trying to kill 360 support for sake of xbone

so yeah not going to happen without xbone being 100$ cheaper and having some exclusives as right now they are lacking them to give incentive to potential buyers, remember most of their exclusives are console exclusives, but are still released on pc or phones

imparanoic, 25 Nov 2015http://www.gamespot.com/forums/games-discussion-1000000/ps3... moreWell, if only japanese were more open to adopt other consoles, xbox 360 would have been the winner last gen if we ignored sales from japan. Sony's strength lies in europe and japan, while microsoft mainly dominates in america. Even in the current generation, while ps4 destroys xbox one in europe, xbox one is holding its own against ps4's momentum in america.

Forbes says Microsoft to sell Xbox. but what's wrong. ps3 was lagging behind Xbox 360 in sales. but ps4 made it. it is good for us customers and technology when there is a good competition. just like Android and ios. (not their fan boys)
