Loldroid, 29 Nov 2015But it's Apple dude. If they wanted to add more cores they'... moreExactly, it would be different. So if they did that single core scores would go down. Point is some people act like it won't and everything else would be the exact same. If it's different there's no point in bringing up this hypothetical CPU and pretending its the same.

AnonD-442781, 29 Nov 2015There's no space for two more cores. And what do you think ... moreExactly. The Cyclone core is very big and wide, adding 2 more cores would make it even hotter than SD810, it would consume too much power, throttle and the die size would be huge.

And what do you think that would do to battery and throttling? People like you always forget how big and power hungry Apple's cores are and think they can just 'add' cores. Ridiculous, to say the least.

Antutu tests for ux and other things too, it isn't just CPU.

Firstly I'm using a new iPhone 6s Plus and I consider myself as a regular user but I love to know about new technology. And my biggest concern is what you gonna do with this much power on a phone besides texting, taking photos, watching videos and playing games? I think Samsung should polish touch wiz instead of adding more cores and chasing after benchmarks. Feel free to argue with me but Apple did an amazing job with 2 cores and optimized OS than what Samsung did with 8 cores and twice as ram.

Give 2 more cores to the iPhone's A9 and it will destroy every single CPU in benchmarks. CPU performance is one half of the story. Samsung always ignore the other part which is software side. iOS and its app are fully optimized and that's why iPhones run faster and smoother than Samsung. It's not about the core count and benchmark. It's about the good user experience without any lags or bugs

Anonymous, 29 Nov 2015wrong !!!! they screwed up the S3 and similar models at kit... moreS3 didn’t have hardware for more but S7 will have because it’s also 64 bit and very powerful while its CPU has already registered a score of 7400 pts in multi core at Geekbench without being totally optimized, it will probably still get around 8000 pts, more or less what my Core i7 920 scores in multi core with stock speed, when it goes into mass production. And don't forget that S7 will have at least 4GB of Ram and a very strong GPU which according to my calculations is 2.25 times more powerful than the Galaxy S6Â’s GPU, which means it will have around 700 Gigaflops of processing power.

Strange the newest concept of Samsung? Is true, you don't believe that? And is of 14nm of manufacturing. Is better than any SOC of the competition at least SOCS of companies that manufacture for Android smartphones and tablets. In the Geekbench in September the Exynos 8890 registed a score in single core of 2294, because wasn't totally optimized, now when it enter in mass production, in December possibly will regist a score of more than 2600 per core.
