Benchmarks of the Exynos 8890 are probably not coming from a SoC installed on a phone. Benchmarks are probably coming from a SoC with a nice cooling fan and maybe overclocking. Is anyway a nice strategy from Samsung to create hype/excitement for a future product.

Everything gets higher score with antutu v6.0, so no surprise here.. Even the iphone 6s get 123k score.. Mental..

The Exynos processors the latest, like 5430, 5433 and 7420 have proved in real usage that are fast and have excellent performance. And know the 8890 will go to be a real problem for Qualcomm, Mediatek, Hisilicon and even Nvidia because is a colossus of chipset as in 4G Speed, CPU, graphics, RAM and internal memory. You don't understand that is over for Qualcomm and other chipset manufacturers?

AnonD-463876, 28 Nov 2015That's the problem with the idiots that clamor about 810 he... moreSays the idiot who also dont know that the same generic architecture was used by Samsung in their exynos7420 yet that SoC doesnt overheat like SD810!Poor implementation of QC has nothing to do with their previous custom cores,and yes SD810 is a crap that heats up quickly and trothles down even quicker.There was simply no choice for manufacturers but to used it(sd810) even if it was known well before that was flawed(LG&Samsung acknowled this even before its realise).On the other hand Qualcomm custom architecture was revolutionary in 2011/12,in the next 3 years they dont make nothing but to increase the L1 L2 cashe and bump the frequencies up.... Thats how they got stuck behind Apple and even Sammy.

All Sammy did was take advantage of the situation, which is fine. Big brands has and always will use SD's because they know it's reliable. Go back to using your cheap poor knockoffs noob.

Or you could root and manually under clock the CPU. But of course the gains wouldn't be the same as if it was designed specifically for efficiency.
I'm thinking SD820 will be more efficient while being weaker, but only time can tell. If the s7 launches with both hopefully we will see some in depth analysis by anandtech and since it's the same phone we can make proper comparisons.

AnonD-337419, 28 Nov 2015in snapdragon flagship models they used krait400 and krait4... moreThat's the problem with the idiots that clamor about 810 heating issues, they don't know that QC isn't using custom core designs like the 801/805 series because they rushed to release a 64-bit cpu to compete against Apple, even then the 810 is nothing to laugh about since it performs very well (otherwise it wouldn't be in most major flagships) I expect Kryo to be a beast in real world performance and gaming whereas Exynos will remain the benchmark king. Also as you alluded to SD's are third party ROM friendly which is always a plus. You can do no wrong with either chipsets, way better than generic ass Chinese ones that's for damn sure.
