First of all they sell the device for 40k like lumia 1520 and the buy back options provided by amazon for lumia 1520 for 950 is just 5000 rs. The same will be happening again if you buy this device for approx 50k and you will get the buy back offer 5000 rs. They are making a joke of themselves.

I think this is just MRP. it will be available in a cheaper price with discounts after it is released. sony z5 premium MRP is higher than this, but they sell it at a cheaper price. so wait for it to get released.

dnt worry guys this is what always happens with flagship lumia pricings they are launched at crazy high prices but it'll go down 10-12k in frst 2-3 month

Yes it has some flaws. So does iPhones, Nexus phones, BlackBerry.
If you think it's worth for the money you pay then go for it. People pay lot of money for Apple products because they believe it is worth the price.

Excellent phone with unmatched build .Consumers ARE GETTING DOCK free initially,so dont bother ABOUT its price. A tough competitor for most of the premium phones including iphone. Can be consider as business phone.
Not suitable for college going dudes,but for serious users.

Its a premium flagship phone with continuum, liquid cooling, retina display, wireless charging, pureview 20MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens, a triple LED flash, 4K video recording. So, compared to flagship phones of other smartphone players, price is correct. If bought with display dock its worthy.
Gorilla glass 4 could have been included, still gorilla glass 3 is ok. MS is targeting Universal apps ecosystem and trying to bring win32 on phone, so future looks promising? Of course we need to wait and watch. Do agree apps problem with windows store as of now. As per Indian market they have to launch a market catching smartphone with good specs and low price

Guys price is not much diff from u.s
Lumia 950 is $ 580 around with taxes...and no free display dock....dock only free with 700$ 950xl
So 950 is 43.... Soo 43-6=37 sooo sell the free dock if u dont need it....
Or wait for the price drop that will happen in a month....
Iam buying it....replacing my 1020 with 950
And my mozo cover has arrived red leather with gold rim. :)

On the contrary, I certainly believe that even a BlackBerry Passport is not at all overpriced for all the benefits we get, but it depends on every individual wants from it. For example, if you want to play specific games ( not just any, but specific), neither Windows nor BlackBerry will fit the bill. But me, I need a solid communication device with clear sound on and from both ends, easy access and features for email, and other short list of social media sites, to be able to connect to a larger screen, expandable storage, want to keep 2 or 3 apps running in the background, etc. So, both BlackBerry and 950 will be a perfect fit for me. So, yeah, it depends and the gent has given you a good explanation

Other thing I forgot to mention is that at this price point package has a display dock which other dont provide.
So you guys may recieve the device at lower cost later which wont have display dock unless Microsoft decides to discontinue the Windows 10 Mobile due to low sale, which wont be a good news for waiting fans.

You guys say this is over priced in India and I don't know what you guys will say for Iphone 6s in India but this one is actually 1000 times better than an Iphone.
