My Nexus5 hardware failure failed twice in a year. First the wifi died and Google me another one. Then within one month, the cheap plastic power button not functioning. Now I got Oneplus X, the phone is much much superior than Nexus5 in performance, display, hardware buttons...

Trying to purchase oneplus 2 since 4 days from amazon.in .. keep getting the invite soon as i apply for one.. click to claim and use the invite as i get it and it says invite not valid.. damn silly. also it's not invite free yet in India as on December 5, 12pm IST

The past month alone I got 4 invites without even asking for it. I decline to buy everytime. The reason the got rid of the invite system is because shopping got smart and I know this was just a fad that was going away soon. These phone should be price with the Asus Zenfone 2 and Alcatel One Touch Idol. That where they fit in. This is not Samsung or Apple we are talking about.

Please tell me how to enable root over adb, where the default CyanogenMod Gallery app is (hint hint: you only get Google Photos) or the default CyanogenMod music player (hint again: You get Google Play Music only), how to remove Swiftkey, how to enable redshift from the default OS, how to choose anything other than GMail as the mailto: hyperlink handler, how to slide across the status bar to adjust brightness, how to disable alarms by flipping the phone over, how to set priority hours, how to change the size of the grid on the home screen. Those are all features missing which are in community CyanogenMod, and from Microsoft's CyanogenOS.
Please do not speak unless you have any clue what you are talking about. I've had the OP2 for a few months now; it is a great phone, like I said, but OxygenOS is purposely limited, because it is based on CyanogenMod sources and has these standard features disabled.

Oh I am so grateful the great One has come down and condescended to actually sell me a phone like everyone else! How generous of you. I cannot tell you how honoured I don't feel! Just one question. If I have to go through all this drama just to buy a device what realistic hope can I honestly have for getting after-sales support?

Sorry OnePlus. This year is very different. at $329 USD it is too expensive for Canadians to buy. It will come to $400 plus duties... For around $500 there are plenty of options. Speaking of options... the Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ZE550KL is around $269 CDN which has 95% same stats as you. So many cheap options than last year man.. it's time for companies to think of something new. No invite? it's not selling my dear.

No lag, looks awesome & feels great with the Spigen case, fingerprint sensor could probably be better though, I don't know, it's my first FP sensor. Would also like stock CyanogenMod, since OxygenOS is shooting for the most iOS-like environment. Nova Launcher takes care of some of the problems though.

One plus has lost its repo with invite system and one plus 2 is not a great value for money device as compared to legendary One plus one.

OnePlus, please collaborate with Microsoft like Xiaomi did and create a Windows 10 Mobile ROM for OnePlus One, OnePlus Two and OnePlus X. Some users just want to move away from the buggy OS that is Android. Take a poll on the OnePlus forum and see for yourself.
