not the best aesthetic option i know BUT, the recess top and bottom actually make sense so when you hold the phone either portrait or landscape, the phone still feels slim while the hump adds cattery capacity.

Umm,here's a concept for a super smart innovative company like Apple,and this might be a stretch here,PUT A BIGGER BATTERY IN YOUR OVERPRICED PHONE!!I am astounded that there are such small batteries in ALL iphones.Now what happens when you lay the phone flat on its back?Holy crap,how did this battery pack make the approval of the higher ups?Are you supposed to play air hockey with it too??

After much deliberation on the matter, i have come to the following conclusion. This case is basically a sacrifice for convenience, a Naked iPhone is sexiest, but riskiest. The main aim here is most likely functionality over beauty. I do find the design unattractive, I can see however how it would serve ergonomically. Also, it's no uglier than any other battery case. I last had a battery case (Mophie) on the iPhone 5 and used it for a week tops, personally I don't need that much juice and I found it bulky and cumbersome... We're judging so much because it was made by Apple. At at the end of the day, a battery case managed to make tech headlines all over the world. That cant be a completely bad thing.

for that price, I can buy 10pcs 5000mAh slim aluminum body powerbank.. and still have enough change to buy a case.. this battery pack is not worth it..

I dont know you but maybe it is just me that surrounded by Apple fanboys where they buy Apple product just for the logo and showing off. I am an Apple user and I owned both iPad and Macbook just for their functionality and ease of use for my study.
