I like its features. But for goodness sake SAmsung should come up with a stylish design for a change. It's like even if you have the most expensive Samsung unit at hand, U could hardly tell the difference with the cheap ones.

Touchwizz is BS. Why did they even bother? It doesn't look sleek or anything. It looks really cheap and its made for budget-phones. The menu is a total copy of iPhone which is really pathetic. The design is typical old boring samsung... And who the f doesn't put flash on a high-end?!

It seem this is omnia II polished cowers and other OS, no radio and no stereo speakers, but has a good screen-size and visual effects, but how that..., good screen for multimedia and no good speakers, i mean MONO speakers..., you may get migraine watching movie in mono-voice today..., even internet radio would be like old radio transistors, that you'll get tired easy!
As phone is very thin, well that screen can break very easy, and will cost you a lot to repair maybe over half it's original price, because there is no warranty about it.

What most people here fail to understand is;Samsung is a South Korean tech company AND their own home/local market are HUGE enough for them.I'm not being prejudicial.I'm just saying that when a biz enjoys that kind of luxury, the standard trend happens to be that they're able to slightly look the other way of how the global market works. In this case it's Samsung's questionable pricing strategies and lax software efficiency initiatives. It's not like that they're dumb at coding shit, they allocate just enough resources to make it work as on paper and as long as it can sell. That's all. They're changing their game and we should allow that to happen. At the very least in underlying phone tech aspect they're stronger than Nokia at R&D I don't think even the most vocal critic can deny that. For example look at RIM with their Blackberry.43% NA market share over iPhone's 25%.By numbers alone you can now roughly guess that's exactly why RIM seems to be slow at bringing better phone tech for their phones. For surrounding services around the BB OS they place that as the higher priority. So far it works for them and course for how long that's debatable.BB OS by itself are a bland UI in terms of user experience BUT it does what it's supposed to do stably and reliably.Again it's up to RIM to stick to their enterprise/biz forte or really bring the fight to consumers' end.The Galaxy S can win.Provided if Samsung knows how to upend HTC's speed to market, pricings and availability.

Paul, 24 Mar 2010Totally agree, they release flagship phones then remove all... moreWell said, and it's exactly what annoys me about modern phones.
Samsung, SE, Nokia, HTC make some amazing devices, but then abandon them six months later for the next top model. The only example of good after sales support came with the N95, when they vastly improved it with the V.20 firmware.
Knock Apple all you want, but they are still supporting a phone that was released over 2 years ago. No other phone company can say the same.
