All of them are good, but when you don't have apps it makes things difficult for one to be ahead or even communicate with friends or family. Going by our dependence on apps on our smartphones the OS needs to first built a strong app market only then the OS will succeed.

The list of dead and almost dead mobile OS:
1- Firefox OS.
2- Danger OS: A cloud-based operating system.
3- Palm OS: last phone was Palm Centro.
4- Windows Mobile OS (1- 6.5): Not WP. Last phone was the magnificent HTC HD2.
5- Nokia Maemo and MeeGo: A great OS killed by Stephen Elop.
6- Nokia Meltemi: A Mobile for low end smartphones killed by Eflop before its birth.
7- Nokia Asha platform: killed same way.
8- Palm WebOS: A great and advanced OS. Relentlessly killed by HP
9- BlackBerry OS ( 1-7): A very well-known and productive OS, discontinued by BB10.
10- BlackBerry BB10: Not officially dead yet, but many indications referring to its dismal.
11- Sailfish OS: with very low market share and lack of support from Jolla, this makes feel the end of this OS is pretty close.
Finally,
12- The godfather of all OS and the legend OS which ruled mobile smartphone's world along 13 years, Nokia Symbian OS.

Then stop dealing through "carriers", stupid!
Sell your Firefox OS phones as carrier independant penta-, octa- or whatever-band get them to work worldwide. Sell them unsubsidized and worldwide compatible. And sell them direct (Like Jolla does) OR use alternative sales-channels. For instance COMPUTER-hardware resellers, DOH! Computer parts resellers have a hard time because desktop sales are falling and their distributors are left out from the traditional mobile-sales distribution.
So they would LOVE to have partners to get a piece of the "mobile cake" (which is getting more important).
For instance I have a professional PC retailer who sells Asus mainboards and videocards yet when I ask him about Asus ZEN-phones I get a no! Why? There's no Asus phones at all in my country because the traditional mobile retail isn't interested in them. It's the same with LG. They only buy the wellknown brands. The same with gigabyte and other PC-parts brands whom also sells mobile stuff that isn't available from these respected and especially tech-savvy PC professionals. Another example: I personally know a PC parts distributor that sells LG-monitors and LG-opticals but yet they have no LG mobile products. Why? The traditional phone stores have stupid personal that knows virtually nothing about technology (they're only interested in selling phone-plans) while the real tech-savy professionals don't sell mobile products.

This saddens me. I don't like Google. And I don't like Microsoft. And Apple is too expensive for what they offer (and their offer is not so good). Only Tizen remains as an option. And Ubuntu, maybe.

What's the point of having so many different OS( especially when it is mobile OS)for? And even worst when it runs web apps. If Windows doesn't do any good( and even BB change to Android), how the heck is the other OS gonna work/do good on nowadays mobile world?
