almost perfect. they need to upgrade the OS, and add a xenon flash, and also add video calling. other than that SE has got a winner.

No FM radio = No Buy.
It is such an important feature on a handset and it is not even expensive to include.

Just look at how much comments the X10 got!! Above 200 woow! Only the best 2 brands and most popular in the world get such comments!

Nokia and SE only, others even can't reach the half. I guess after all and even with all the competition in the mobile industry, Nokia and SE are still the most popular due to the huge impact they left in the world.

            Cheers!

I really can't believe I'm going to say that :

But well done Gsmarena it's been ages since I last saw a decent review for a SE handset in your website, I still can't believe that you were objective and honest. I mean you still mentioned the weak points of the handset but on the other hand you were fair and gave the good points it's share as well. Seriously, I would like you to continue this way, my self along with other people have been fed up with all the negative attitude towards SE handsets. So, again thank you, and keep the good work going on.

The review was very useful and it really helped!

              Cheers Gsmarena :D

                                That's whack.

As is no xenon flash on a 8MP camera.

So what you're saying is that we should pay SE now and get an up-to-date phone in 2 months? Why not buy what's up-to-date now or get something better in 2 months (or even get this phone for a lot cheaper then)?

As per the current specifications, the phone is not a great value (unless you really want the came or UI skin). The fact that updates are coming (God knows when) doesn't change that fact. Worse still is the fact that given the rate at which Android updates have been coming, you can virtually guarantee that by the time SE ports Eclair on to the X10, there will already be a new Android update out and the X10 will be out-of-date....again.

                                        -----------------------

What country is that? Google isn't selling the Nexus One in too many places right now. And the X10 just got released for sale, as per this article. So where is it that both phones are selling already and at such strange prices?

I am guessing the only reason the Nexus One is so expensive where you are is because you aren't in a country where you can buy directly from Google. If you could that price list would be reversed and the N1 would be cheaper than the X10.
