well, i think, that the N8 has an Mechanical Shutter....coz its highly unlikely that an imaging flagship comes without a lens cover from nokia. since its auto...it wasnt visible in the pics that have so far been leaked!!!!

Mobile Fan, 30 Mar 2010360 x 640 screen resolution?! hahaha is this some kind of s... moreSpot on. I loved my Nokia 5800 (it finally died this weekend). But I've moved on to a Nexus One. And Nokia is making the same mistakes on the hardware side that SE has with the X10. And now they are compounding that error with the mistakes on the software side. Ovi is so far behind. The Ovi app store has too few apps, and the quality of the apps they have is even further behind. Their cloud integration is horrendous as well.
Yet, they think a vagina clock and an OS (looks like Bada, Brew, stock Android, and to some extent OS X mobile) that looks like pretty much every other OS out there will stop the bleeding. Come on Nokia, you know you can do better!

High pixel density greatly adds to cost, power consumption, slowness(that is why iPhone is way faster and also mainly App compatibility fragmentation.

The only thing(s) that can stop N8 from killing its N97 sibling are:-
~ a repeat of mismatched CPU + sys RAM size out of S^3's own specs.
~ S^3..if crap.
~ and above all Nokia's penchant for ridiculously HIGH launch prices.
Just those 3.If Nokia are really really serious after that allaboutsymbian "N97 has failed" vid interview then by all means it's not going to be acceptable this time around.Time to bring the game up.On a slightly unrelated note,SE just screwed its own Xperia X10 with low RAM thus rendering the future Android 2.1 update's multitouch functions relatively useless.Not hating on SE or Android but just a lesson to Nokia.There's a nice window of opportunity here if one look between the lines.And do remember that SE still have their Symbian trump card;Vivaz and Vivaz Pro.IF S^3 can deliver on all fronts and Vivaz happens to be able to support it those may or may not suck so much.

I'm not a Nokia hater (I currently own a Nokia phone) but it's obvious N8 specs are simply not good enough to compete with the likes of HTC and Samsung.
Nokia are making the same mistakes as SE if they release such a poorly speced phone.

Nokia still has not got the 8MP n86 taking decent shots yet - I will be so annoyed if they release a 12MP after they have not even supported users of 8! This will be my last nokia...
