I thought it would have been a lot higher. My Verizon HTC One M9 running Android Marshmallow gets 120,000 points on AnTuTu.

dunno, that picture doesn't look sharp, it looks weird really, the thumb on the left seems on focus and just about normal but the screen seems weird like with some Instagram lens or something

My Xperia Z5 Compact got about 64k in Antutu with the older version. Now suddenly with Antutu 6 it gets a whopping 81k. 81335 to be exact. Why the sudden boost? Even my old Moto G 16gb got up from 19k to almost 24k. The heck is it with the sudden performance boosts? Did the judging criteria suddenly change or what?

Also, Antutu 6.0 gives more points, then the previous version.

Qualcomm back to their best. A sony phablet with a Qualcomm chipset, it's a marriage made in heaven, it's a bit like my beastly MSI gaming laptop with the Nvidia graphics card, none can beat it.

I guess depends on SoC. Mine gpu freeze because whole SoC overheated. They said so on service. Anyway every harsh consumption means something will heat up. Also to my knowledge to use gpu to fullest u need adequate ram and cpu. Also system. For example hardware used 3 years ago would be today unable to run more adept windows or android. So based as my service said for my lg g2..i would say whole chip heats up.

What is the difference between hea... moredont step forward surely we could see something like that but ..i want to know something ...for me there is no need of more than 4 cores ... as long as they are well made with a more little process for example 14 and smaller .....we could have 4 core 3.0 gz for example with an outstanding adreno card and good amount of ram.... for me there is not point in increase the number of cores........... companies does this with midrangers mostly is because depending of the process they use on their soc .... they find out that it is better to increase that put over the limit those cores ..... but this overheat a lot ,,,,,,,,,,, again 4 core processor should be the norm and dual core for midrange performance using the same proces and cards ....

First of all Sn810 was a failure because of pages like this which inform people of facts in a wrong way. Everybody said phone throttled after 15 min od tests on soc or in other words gaming. Of course if you play a game soc heats up, but various reviews said that without any reserve towards users. Tell me please does sn810 overheats and starts to break down if yountype sms or be on internet? Not really because sn810 isnt burdened at maximal point. If you play real racing 3 then it could get too much heated up and then throttling starts. But that doesnt affect on user experience. If phone heats up and works perfectly well then it is no problem at all, if it heats up too much when becomes unable to cool well then we see throttling and breakdown in performance. Even if sn820 heats up, as long as it doesnt overheat is good. Sony and Microsoft also found solution for sn810...Sn810 heats up, but doesnt crack down. Unless you multitask with 10 apk at the same time, but that means exynos will also break down.
So i guess that the most important things is how soc is implemented into phone..even if gets warm is cool. As long as doesnt heat up to a point when it cant cool down.
Secondly Sn820 is quad core it would be logical to assume that 4 cores has more space to cool down also less burden on those four cores. It is a bit of shame that quallcomm didnt use 4 quad core 1.6 kryo and 2 dual core 2.15 kryo. It could make nice hexa core. Powerul indeed.
But sn820 shows beastlike results. Xiaomi mi 5 will be probably first proof how it goes.

The most important aspect of a modern SoC, as it became evident last year with the arrival of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, is how it handles thermal throttling not its benchmark performance. We will only know the amount of thermal throttling required for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 when it will be placed in commercially available smartphones, since the depth of the prototype devices used by Qualcomm for internal testing is usually much larger than the one found in smartphones produced by the OEM. This was the reason that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 didn't exhibit any sings of above average thermal throttling initially when tested inside the prototype devices used by Qualcomm for internal testing, since the SoC had ample of space to cool down, but when it was placed inside the smartphones that were going to hit the shelves with their very slim profiles then reports started appearing indicating that there were serious issues with its thermal throttling management.
