I'd choose a 16-32GB phone that has SD slot in the blink of the eye instead of a 128GB phone without SD.
Cloud is just a gimmick to make you put your files on NSA'S servers.
But what concerns me are the fingerprint and iris sensors. I will never buy one of those phones.
Can't wait for project ara, so i can choose what i have on my phone.
I never pay for anything with my phone, so NFC, fingerprint are just pure junk for me..

are you saying that each time I buy a phone , I should waste 200$ more for 128 GB versiond instead of just swapping an 128GB SD card ?

Hello, 18 Dec 2015Couldn't agree more. I like my storage offline including my... morethis all cloud storage thing will die in 1-2 years.
going forward smartphone comapnies should develop
1.cheap internal storage so that every phone can come with 128gb capacity
2.long lasting battery which is also very small and can be charged in 2=5 mins.
that phone would be next superphone.
Im sure Nokia could have done that but unfortunately they lost the battle to android.

AnonD-292864, 18 Dec 2015Just buy a powerbank and you don't need removable battery a... moreAgain, same problem for keeping an iPhone - you have to carry charger/charging pad/powerbank just to charge 2-4 hours before you go home.

I don't have to. I just change the battery.

That's why I find it silly to have an ultra thin phone, but still you have to carry a big fat extra powerbank to keep it afloat.

Now Samsung should realize to make a VERSION that has at least double the current battery.

I have the power packs. They stay home whew I need to charge my spent batteries.

Anonymous, 18 Dec 2015And that is why mid-range phones exist... they can do all that.So you are seriously proposing we buy cheaper inferior phones just to get an SD card slot? I don't mind not not having an SD card slot provided the phone has enough internal storage but to remove it and then refuse to sell phones with sufficient internal storage either is just plain stupid. I actually prefer internal UFS 2.0 storage as it is much faster than any SD card. However, to then go on about how great Cloud storage is just plain ridicuolus. The Cloud will not always be available and transferring the amount of data I have (60 GB) about will cost more than than the phone over the cost of it's contract. You might consider that sensible but I don't think many people would.

TheNeighbor, 18 Dec 2015Too little, too late, and too limited. Samsung, but basi... moreJust buy a powerbank and you don't need removable battery and 128gb is more than enough. You can also get a USB Pendrive. Note 5 supports USB OTG.

Too little, too late, and too limited.

Samsung, but basing from your previous practice - I will never see the light of this 128 GB being sold to most countries.

I'll be keeping my 32 GB Note 3 + 128 GB microSD card (about 147 GB total of real user's storage) is way better than just 128 GB of internal memory with just some 102 GB user's storage. That's 45 GB more storage when using the Note 3.

And with that removable battery system, I bought two 6400mAh batteries so I'll never have to change batteries or charge before I go home. It's silly to have to wait "under 90/120 minutes" to charge a sealed battery during your waking hours. I practice zero charging time by just changing batteries when I need to. Why would we ever want to inherit the problems of charging like iPhone users?

Of course not! I really wanted to buy a Note 5, but will never buy one again until they put back the MicroSD. What where they thinking? Don't the know that people that look forward for a Note knows what a MicroSD slot is? Now that there are 200GB MicroSD out there makes Samsung's decision look even DUMBMER!. I went for the z5 Premium Dual and I am happy for now :)

Remember one thing... before Android 6.0 the SD Card on Android was no native and the smaprtphone builders that want more speed choose no sd card because the phone is slow when access the card, even so is a sdxc high speed card, now... the external card in marshmellow is native.. maybe some brands wants to put again a sd in his smartphones, I like the SD but I did sell my Note3 and now I have a Nexus 6 without SD card and 64 Gigas storage (the same that I had when used my Note 3 with 32 and 32 in sd) and now the access to pictures and video is more faster than my note 3 whit SD, just think about it

Your internet may be fast and reliable in your home and work area, but if you're going abroad, things might be very different. And the fastest cloud storage solution can't match the speed of direct local access. Are you really that ignorant?

64gb is more than enough for most ppl let alone 128gb, its the niche that treat it as a pc who wants more of everything. Lets face it, unibody design is the new trend. The only thing I care is bigger battery capacity like 4000+ mah.

It will be expensive. I recommend to buy other phone and insert 128 GB SD card. I have Sony Z3 and SanDisk 128gb.

Samsung Last Chance Note5 edition! :) A professional purpose smartphone WITHOUT MicroSD. That's the DUMBEST idea which has ever done!
                                  You ignorant consumers;
-if you think that cloud storage would save you instead of a proper Micro SD card, than good luck next time trying to play your Spotify files in the plane (or abroad; where roaming costs would rip your next phone's budget).
-Save ALL photos/videos to cloud and wait them to be downloaded.
-If you wish to check long videos, wait forever.
                                  MicroSD is NECESSARY & VITAL!
