AnonD-196068, 18 Dec 2015What annoys me even more is people who waffle about Cloud s... moreCouldn't agree more. I like my storage offline including my high quality music collection and videos to be stored locally on my phone. It wouldn't make sense to stream those files through cloud because of reception, data cost, and slow speed from network bottlenecks during peak period. I bloody hate cloud advocates including Google (and especially their nexus range), they don't seem to acknowledge all the potential drawbacks of cloud compared to traditional storage methods.

It is no use to me when I am not in a recpetion area and unless I have a Wi-fi connection will cost me to transfer the data too. I just want to place ALL my data on my device and have it available 24 x 7 at zero cost once there. Cloud storage does not achieve that. That is so here and now in actual reality!

Glad someone finally point that out for people who can't afford cloud storage and slow internet speed. I still wonder why those type of people still want to buy premium phone, seriously.

It doesn't matter if its 128GB or even 1TB, if it's not available worldwide. Now with Z5,S7... new gen. coming soon I even wonder if there is a point, I don't see Spen saving note5 year old chipset.

Like dude, external storage (Sd's CD's, USB's etc) is so last century, I'm sure that Samsung has some kind of cloud storage and even if it doesn't there are plenty third party apps to help you. And if you can't afford the data costs involved, or if your connection is slower than a snail, what you want with a premium phone anyway? All the entry and mid rangers still have SD cards, maybe that's where you belong?

Seems like samsung don't want their top phone to actually sell.

In the meantime the Note 4 and Note Edge are still selling, 32GB + 200GB microSD.
Better than this overpriced featureless junk.

They are hoping to bully people in Europe in to buying the S6 Edge+ instead. There are two problems with that for me. Firstly the Edge display is a pointless gimmick for me and actually means the real screen size is slightly smaller for a pointless gimmick I don't want that is way overpriced. Hold the Note 4 next to the s6 Edge + and the screen is slightly narrower and less tall. Yes it is only a small amount but it is adding needless, pointless cost while taking away what I do want and replacing it with something I don't want.

Secondly whilst I can understand that they would prefer uas to use UFS 2 internal memory storage, as opposed to external SD cards, if they then do not provide enough of it. Had they sold an S6 Plus with 128 GB of storage I might have fallen for it but not the Edge + with only 64 GB, which of course in reality is a lot less than that.

Special Winter Edition Note5 with 128GB of storage is good news. Would be even better if it was actually available for purchase here in the UK, atleast the ones with the smaller storage. What a f..king move, Samsung!
