Finally multitasking is making it to iphone, well w... moreThe reason why the multitasking feature will not be available to the iphone 3g is because it's hardware specs is not adequate to handle it smoothly, but the 3gs version can. If Apple would allow the 3g version to include multitasking, users will complain that it lags, and that is against how Apple wants their devices to run.

What apple introduce is not very revolutionary but it is always interesting to see public reaction towards Apple's move, why? Because they take apple as trendsetter and every little step apple make always affect the whole business, I guess thats because deep down we all love Apple products.

Just cashin their app store - most of which is spam and stupid apps.. The productivity they r providin thru app store is given by other manufactures by default :D

That's not multitasking! its called waiting tasking. cmon people you called this evolution of iphone? all the features of OS 4.0 is already out in some smartphone devices, even way back in 2005.

I never buy iPhone until Apple Co not add QWERTY, Java, not make a good photo and video camera (VGA@30fps) or DivX player. By the way i am Nokia N95 8GB owner. This features got almost any phone Co it's so simple!
