Every device out there has excellent multitasking.

Every device except iPhone that needs an API to do it :))

--lol. i think its the other way around... if others claim that iphone's ui is simple and easy/user friendly and nokia's ui is not, its like you said that iphone's ui was made for no-brainers... who is stup*d then?

Dry your eyes you bunch of children - my phones better than your phone - pathetic! Bottom line, any update is a good update, and takes the whole mobile industry forward, as manufacturers are competing against each other rather than sitting back and doing no development (eg like Nokia did post N95, their mistake!). We all have different needs, so get yourself a handset that is suited to you, and stop stressing about others!

Anonymous, 11 Apr 2010"POOR iphone users I really feel pity for you. Multita... moreMultitasking five years old?
Multitasking on smartphone is 17 (seventeen) years old!
                      http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/features/item/Look_everyone_Multitasking_does_work_after_all_And_has_been_doing_so_for_a_decade_and_a_half.php

iPhone is not even a smartphone since the definition of a computer supposes multitasking!

As for the myth of power draining, well look at any other brand!
The worst devices last as long as an iPhone, while most of them outlast iPhone's battery with ease!

The reason for stored state is simple! The softwre on iPhone can't run so many execution threads! That's why even using a bluetooth headset makes it stutter!

Stored state uses far more CPU and power than multitasking!
Putting the app to sleep, moving it away from the ram, waking it and moving it again. An app on a multitasking device uses ~2-3% CPU!

That, my friends, is a statement made by a person who goes by the name of "FOKIA". This is an example of a dillusional fanboy. This is an example of one who comes to the iPhone section (probably the Nokia one as well) just to write up an abusive comment. This is an example of a person who ISN'T showing his opinion, he is instead forcing what he thinks upon others.

You may also want to find out what "proof of concept" and "in the wild" are.

Then your posts would make some snese rather than looking like uninformed trolling.

That's why hackers mock it. There is no easier way to steal confidential information than a mac.

First, you have the totally unprotected MAC - because steve says it's safe:

Secondly, you have safari, that doesn't hide confidential data(by that we don't mean your p.r0n, we mean your credit card number, name and adress!:

Anonymous, 10 Apr 2010Anyone who creates a virus deserves to be penalized. Be it... moreThe virus was created not to infect phones, but to expose it's security flaws, and the apple fanboys couldn't accept it.

Not all people that make viruses, make them for evil. A lot make them to expose and thus improve the security. But according to Steve Jobs and his loyal iSheep, iPhone can not have a virus and thus they have to threaten the guy who made it so he would keep his mouth shut.

Do you see any other fanboys/company do that when someone else exposes a flaw with their product? Only Apple and it's fanboys
