Other interesting points about the Apple iPhone OS 4.0
a.) No support for Java or Flash on Apple iPhone OS 4.
b.) Ads supported by iAd should be in HTML5 format. Developers of the ads can choose any tools they want. As long as it’s HTMl5.
c.) In June, when the new OS ships, iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3rd-gens will get all the above features. iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G will get “many things” (but not multi-tasking as informed earlier). iPhone 2G won’t get anything, sorry.
d.) Apple iPad will get the iPhone Os 4.0 update only by Fall of this year.

--well, i can say apple iphone is higher in sales revenue since it costs 5x more than other phones. i mean, why not say "...that can prove is better than iphone juz one... according to number of units sold..." and not sales revenue. of course because apple is all about $$$...
--i can say that iphone is popular.. well, they say it is...
--data usage. majority of phone users do not surf the web and send email via phone. in my country, sms and mms is way more popular than email and voice call. say a person sends an average of 50-100 sms/mms per day.

....by the way, I`m using a REAL phone/tablet, an N900.....you need a required amount of brains to make it work, contrary to the iphone.

Infact, siemens ph can do whatever nokia can do at that time, but ppl simply go for nokia.
Anyway, I am not impressed with this iph os 4. but it may be good enough for iph lovers.

It was my second N series device, and it DIDNT have any bugs or crashes. It was in fact the best phone I'd bought so far at that time. The N70 was a different story, but The N73 was really nice. A case where Nokia did a great job.
The iphone is a different beast. There's no need for people to be insecure and threatened by it, as it's a ipod with VERY good phone features.

Well these are big improvements indeed for the iphone. We don't think that this is a new thing because we know that other phones have most of these features as well. We just like Apple's implementation better. You're obviously a very smart guy. You're too smart for us, so I suggest you not waste your time checking out Apple stuff and articles because it might just slow your brain down :)

these features that apple puts out are basic things a $1 cellphone that they give away at any wireless store when you join their network. Apple is releasing it like its something big and most of the people in this world who own a iphone think its something big and new. All of you really should open your eyes. These options were available back when the iphone 2g was out with cydia. You all need help

People are still talking about it like crazy it's just unbelievable. The iphone could only dream to reach the status of the N95. Same with the N97. It's selling like pancakes anywhere you go, oh my gosh.
But then there's the minority iphone users like me who are just happy with our simple iphones :)

Wow the n900 makes the iphone look like a joke? Then I'm pretty sure a lot of iphone users will switch to the n900 now. How long has the n900 been out now? How many has it sold? I'm sure it's doing better than the iphone if what you're saying is true. There's no Nokia store here like the Apple has, so unfortunately I cannot try it out. But don't worry, if what you're saying is true, your n900 will truly be successful. But for now, I'm sticking with my iphone :)

Apple is doing really well but if your old e70 can already multitask, then I am sure it's doing even better. Your e70 must truly be an amazing device. But we're happy with the iphone so don't get mad. Users like us like simple devices with only a few features like the iphone. The e70 is just way too advance and powerful for us. Take care :)
