Android had never the harmony or you can say hardware software compatibility. On the other hand iOS and Windows uses less hardware resources and has 99% error free environment, smooth decorum.
The only reason most of the companies run android in their veins is due to end user (noobs) who needs a phone with all feature and easy to use. Regardless of the knowledge which human race forever lacks. As:

I think 5.3 inch display is error in assuming something. First of all LG always uses quad hd, second of all quad hd would be waste of energy and time on 5.3 inch screen. 5.3 would mean Lg has to revert back to FHD or 1080p screen. Whixh is something unlikely.

i have 1gb ram in android and bare minimum apps and it hangs a lot :(
i think android needs 2gb atleast to be counted in smooth category.
only windows phone can run smoothly with low ram.

Why is everyone saying 5.3" - EVERY and I mean EVERY other site but this one is listing specs at 5.6" !!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is NO way LG is going to make it smaller - it just makes no sense whatsoever

We need optical zoom 2x or 4x with OIS. 16MP or 21MP no big deal. Many factors are un play so dont judge yet. 3GB or 4GB of RAM?! Android doesnt need more than 512MB of RAM to run smoothly.
With more RAM that just mean you can have more apps running in background but essentially stock android is ok with less RAM

Is this just a dream? I tried handling the 5.5 inch screen lg g4 dummy displayed in the mall. It felt quite good on my hand but there is no unit available so the sales girl presented me another one. A 5.2 inch lg g4 beat. I was surprised it felt perfectly on my hand! I quickly researched about it and sadly found a midrange specs :( It made me wish an lg 5.2 flagship and then this leak came. what a dream!! :)

Seems that you can't satisfy everybody! If it's 5.5 inch people complain it's too big. Now it's 5.3 and people complain it's too small!!
First world problems are ridiculous. This phone will probably blow the competition again. Definitely better than Sony or Apple. Not sure about Samsung's flagship, S7 - i think the battle will be between S7 and G5 in 2016, just like 2015...
