Its understandable if you dont like htc but coming here to paste bullshit is what i dont get, nobody is forcing you to buy their produts. For me htc remains the best although it flaws which is present in other companies aswell. My iphone 6plus just fell down and the screen gone but my ht has fallen many times with little or no sratch

The xiaomi has downsides as you said. Waiting for review to see the differences. Am currently using the vibe x2 but i'll upgrade soon. the vibe x3 looks stellar but am waiting for its review first. the moto x pure edition looks better as compared to the htc x9

htc's problem is they think they're apple. if they would just lower their pricing vs hardware then they'll be able to manage. look at asus, another taiwanese manufacturer doing good in pc and now in smartphones. asus always provide bang for the buck products

As uv'e said among the three I seemed to like the htc ui since it was smooth even after months of use. When u say the best design and speakers go on the side of htc, am not quite sure all the time since the A9 is opposite of that.Am not comparing the high end offerings of htc, sony and samsung, I'm comparing their midrange offerings and budget offerings. An example is for under 400 dollars the x9 is below par as compared to Chinese owned companies like motorola X Pure Edition,oneplus. Even xiaomi for 362 dollars in everbuying.com you get the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro 5.7" 2K Sharp JDI Display Android 5.0 4GBtam 64GB 64-bit Smartphone Snapdragon 810 Octa Core White. Am no expert but if you are the expert you say you are check out the review of the mi note pro and then tell me you would rather buy the x9

I live in Canada and have never seen an HTC commercial except for stuff I've seen on youtube. That's why their sales aren't very good. Marketing is the big thing. I love HTC, but the M8 camera wasn't anything special, and the M9 chip wasn't good. But if they kept a similar metal unibody design with lik3 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, expandable memory, the new 820 chip instead of the mediate, a 20mp camera and of course the stereo speakers, it would be a great device,

It is appaling to me that GSMA has created a spec page for Samsung A9 but has not done so for HTC X9 yet.
They both leaked a lot and launched the same day.

Dig deeper and we can distinguish those two better.
Most glaring is the lack of micro SD expansion in Redmi Note 3. Its camera lacks OIS.
And despite its 4000 mAh battery it manages only 72 hour endurance rating (check it out in its specifications page), good but clearly not so efficient.
Not to mention HTC's metal body although some people prefer plastic body so that's arguably subjective.
Meanwhile, give Lenovo's offerings a look too. The Vibe X3 and A7010 pretty much cover the lower mid to upper mid range.
