Two more cud-have-been phones. Its lack autofocus and touchscreen and video call cameras. Bad feature selection SE, as always. I dont like se at all now.

WTF! ! The walkman series is still alive?? What about the cyber-shot series?? will they still be coming back?? So love my old k800i and the new c901 they are so great. . . they should put in the new cyber-shot a xenon flash, mechanical image stabilizer, sony's iSCN technology, social integration, water proof and a slot for the tripod. . . to make it so good

I'm used to be a SE supporter. I've bought many n many of SE phones (Right from T610...) before i gave up on them few years ago. It made me sad to see once a brilliant & creative phone maker coming out w these kind of crap again & again. I wonder when will they wake up & start making a good phone.

Those are the worst phone names I have ever heard in my life. Spiro and Zylo don't sound like music phones to me. Can anyone imagine saying "Wanna hear some tracks on my Spiro!?" no way...
Walkman series deserves better than dumb weird names like this.
The phones themselves are OK, although again don't do the Walkman brand any justice, as unlike every other Walkman phone they lack uniqueness and creativity, both looking like a pair of VERY low end and cheap slider phones
(this is from a W995 owner, that was the last great Walkman phone)

SE makes the best walkman phone and that's ALL!
If not because the Walkman(R) from Sony (not SE), most of SE phones are really bad. Not to mention the late due date and the firmware drama.

i have been a really big fan of the walkman series. we have 4 different walkman phones at our home.
the earlier walkman phones were really great. w550i was a huge success. perhaps the best selling walkman phone ever. w800i, w810i, w700i were great iconic phones too. then many SE phones started having design flaws or some software issues. my current w910i restarts a lot. this is where sony ericsson lost the plot.
sony ericsson's decision to not have 3.5 mm jacks in almost all phones meant they lost a lot of audiophile buyers too.
and their proprietary memory cards(M2 or memory stick pro duo) were much more expensive than the normal cards.
again due to these mistakes sony ericsson lost the plot.
there weren't many great walkman phones for quite a long time. w830i was good but the keypad breaking issue was there. w580i had the same problem. w595 or w760i were decent but again the problem of no 3.5 mm jack and proprietary memory cards
by this time SE lost most of their diehard fans.
w995 was a great phone. the best walkman phone ever w.r.t features. and it had a 3.5 mm jack too even if the memory card was M2. but the timing was really bad. it was released when the smartphone and iphone craze was at its peak. and it was way toooo expensive and that affected the sales.
ppl said that now SE stopped making walkman phones after w995. i am really happy to see these new phones.
but now the times have changed. touchscreen or smartphones are the order of the day. although SE have a few of them, many ppl buy SE phones for the walkman/cybershot label. ppl are not that interested in XPERIA/greenheart even if its good. most SE fans are interested in walkam or cybershot only.
SE need to have a walkman touchscreen phone running on android or another OS. only then SE's image will be salvaged.
