Just remember folks this is not a high end phone, so it's normal not to have so many features in it. If you want a high end phone you should either go with the X2 or X10. This is a simple, sexy design phone for people who love to enjoy music! And also want a reliable phone to use, Period!

P.S: keep in mind that the more the simple means the less you will have problems with the phone, and the less you will need to take it to maintenance so thumps up! Let SE rock the music world again, because they are simply the best when it comes to music.

These are LOW-END walkman phones with UPDATED UI (ux).

Upgraded audio experience, and threaded text and the bunch. Lets wait for review to see what these phones are like =D

You guys are right, its not a bold refreshing design. But its good lookin and functional for the rest of the public, whose not always up to the minute of new cellphone trends.

The first time SE announce a .flac capable phone. Those codecs demand alot out of a CPU, and would be interesting to see how laggy the GUI gets when playing one on the Zylo. No mention of a DSP which is a slap in the face for a music-orientated phone (likewise with XpressMusic).

So far, Samsung is the only company I've seen with DSP chips in their phones bundled with DNSe v3, but they sound crap which is why I'm sticking with SE (regardless of how bad their phones are; as long as it doesn't freeze and restart randomly on me, I'm happy)

Owning a W980, it gets darn laggy when playing back music files. And this is with plain 320kbps .mp3. I would be more than happy to live with the lags if there was a firmware upgrade that enabled .flac, but then that's a distant dream ~sob~

i don't understand why se stopped having a real walkman series, because imo walkman is a big name that says a lot, like ipod. they should release some kind of high-end device, with a touchscreen, gps, wi-fi, hsdpa, etc. (and a real marketing campaign) in order to boost the brand's credibility and popularity.

For the rich people, you can go for X10 or Vivaz

2 of the 3 "Music phones" have fast ports. If a phone does not have a 3.5mm audio jack, the word "Music phone" should never ever be used. Nokia offer similar phones at much better prices, all with 3.5mm audio jacks.
Thank you SE but no thank you. Just know this and I know I am the only person in the world saying this:
No 3.5mm jack = No Buy!!!

They're lacking something. I can't put my finger on it...look at Spiro, it looks a bit similar to W760i but W760i is boasting uniqueness and coolness that is definitely lacking in Spiro. It's just not memorable.

To be honest I'm waiting for the W995 successor with a 3 inch NON-TOUCH screen (not everyone wants dirty finger marks over their screen), FM transmitter, 8mp camera with xenon flash, and everything W995 already has.

Also I wish SE would STOP with those dopey names. "Spiro".."Zylo"...they don't sound like music phones to me.
