Seriously guys?
A couple of days/months doesn't mean anything if the software will be improved, stop acting like children (or children are mostly the ones posting here?).
If your biggest problem in life is that your G3 hasn't marshmallowed yet, then you can only be grateful...

Still no upgrade here in Northern Ireland. I'm pissed off about having to wait longer for it.

I was so excited when I heard that it will be available on 14th, got up early to check my phone, nothing. .. Connected to LG PC Suite.. Nothing... if LG keeps doing this, days are not far when they will head in the same direction as BlackBerry.

I don't have big issues with this OS,but still I believe my phone can perform better and faster! On my old G2 mini,I had kikat,no problems with it,great OS! But after 5.0.1.. A while was great, but after 3 or 4 months the problems appeared. A friend has an M8,after 6.0 he has only gret stuff to say. And if 6.0 on my G3 goes wrong I have warranty or the root option. I see that you prefer kit Kat,but it's kind off old.. Like runing xp when out there is w7.

All what i can say is, whichever the version u gets when u buy the phone will always be the best. if u buy a new phone with inbuilt android 6.0 or 5.0, these phones have lesser issues than a older phone getting newer android updates. its my opinion.... its like a medicine tablet, cure is there for some problems but side effect comes along with it.....

i was planning to buy the new G5, but to be frank, i didnt liked the looks of it....my G3 is still looking solid.... but new innovations r good, but atleast in the next edition, modules should be replaced without switching it off completely.....LG should be one step ahead when releasing their best phones....like if g3 is 3 gb ram, g4 should be 4gb ram ,and g5 should be 5 gb like dat.....then people will expect more each time....so if g3 had 13 mega pixel, g4 is 16 mp which is good ,so g5 should be atleast 20 mp.... which didnt happen.... and then the battery....we need something more always..... and atleast for g6 please change the volume key to rear itself....

Here is how i did, down arrow+power button-- press hard.... release when logo comes....again press both buttons back for few more seconds until reset menu appears.....proceed with the steps....uncheck the option for software update during the steps.....finally if u r lucky enough, u may get it.... now my phone is not getting heated up any more, even while playing games.... once u get it... never update anymore.....

DaNzWoRLD, 14 Mar 2016When i bought MY G3 in 2014, it was just perfect. No issues... morei updated my phone firmware to Lollipop. For several times, i did hard reset my phone but it did not return back to kitkat. i bought my phone may 2014 the 1st few days it was available in qatar with kitkat preinstalled.

so i doubt your claim that your phone returns back to kitkat when you did a hard reset.
