If I update my D855 manually,it's still the original update? Or not and I'll lose my warranty?

When i bought MY G3 in 2014, it was just perfect. No issues. But when the lollipop update came, lot of issues started like battery heat problem, getting switched off frequently. And i was suffering a lot. When i get the news that the marshmallow update started rolling, i was again exited. that was the time i thought i will try to update through lg pc suite. when i finished updating through pc suite, my phone started rebooting again and again , and it never stopped. Finally i made a hard reset and luckily i got the old kitkat version back. I am so happy with it now, and i dont need anymore upgrade. my battery life increased and its never getting hot.

So we already know that the Marshmallow update is coming to the LG G3 and LG G4 in other countries. AT&T and Verizon users of the G4 are still waiting for the update, but Canadian mobile carrier TELUS has provided a suggestive update recently that sheds some light on the matter. The carrier updated its roadmap for the Android Marshmallow release, and the list included the LG G3 and G4. The LG G3 will get the update by mid-March (March 14th), while the LG G4 will get it by 1st February. (Update report for LG G3 at bottom)

I had the same problems with my g3 and I did a factory reset and it solved most of the problems. I then installed the prev apps one by one and found out a couple which did drain my battery and caused it to crash and overheat. Now it works like a treat. Still waiting for marshmallow though. I also have got a SIM free phone and am on talk talk

For all the people asking about when they can get it and where, it varies as there are several different g3 models and your mobile carrier may also delay your update of they add anything. Youust wait for your country, model and carrier gor short so the best thing is to stay patient, its all worth it

Got a replacement phone through insurance on Verizon about a month ago beginning of February. After a few days it offered the update to marshmallow 6.0. I've gone through 5 replacement phones because of the lollipop update causing so many problems with my lg g3 over the past year that I've had it. This marshmallow update has improved my battery life the performance is astonishingly faster and I am very impressed with the speed that everything works. So anybody with an LG g3 that has not got the update yet be patient when you get it it should help your LG g3 in every way. The only problem I have had is when you bring up your text messages the screen comes up blank every once in awhile and you have to go back into your text messenger for your messages to appear.
