ithehappy, 31 Dec 2015Astoundingly excellent LG. Looking forward to it, not.Yes you are. Now that your Samsung tattoo is freshly removed, you need a new oem to fill that void. That sad little void.

The battery could use a bit more capacity. 3GB of RAM is more than enough - the Nexus phones are proof. And they really are betting on the camera to carry it. Let's see what happens, then.

Any word about an ess audio chipset like the v10?

I hope that the LG G5 will incorporate/ include a lot much more of the best and latest specs of 2015-2016, if they really want to have a/ the probability to be of or even the best flagship of 2016!? Because at this stage, even the Sony Xperia Z5 premium is better! And it is Sony' s 2015 flagship, and not 2016. So without a single doubt it is 100% clear that it's a must for LG to include lot lot more best and latest specs for the G5!!!!!!!!!

Please LG please make it with a larger battwry(3000+mah) and the self-healing feature of Flex series to it.

This secondary display is just a gimmick that adds unnecessary bulk. One thing I liked most about the G3 was its exceptionally compact size for a 5.5 inch phone. The ONLY problem it had that needed fixing was it's poor battery life. I loved this phone but won't be buying any of its successors if they are too bulky for this size of display.

android guy, 31 Dec 2015lmao, going backwards in battery? I mean, its okay that man... moreI agree; it will be better optimized and the 2800 will probably score the same amount as the 3000 on a G4, which has a decent battery; but the biggest challenge any mobile phone manufacturer has nowadays is battery life! Why can't companies get that?? Leave 3000 or even add a little on the G5 and it will be unbeatable!

I am genuinely disappointed with LG for this decision, especially since this was the phone i was looking mostly forward to in 2016....i guess i'll wait and see how it scores and then decide whether i'll go back to samsung or not...

What??? 2800 mAh, and it will have a secondary display??? If this will be true, then they have lost their minds for sure.

lmao, going backwards in battery? I mean, its okay that manufacturers makes batteries according how proccessors require... But why they can't just leave 3000mah? so we would have a bit more battery? wtf LG what are you doing. This logic is sooo wrong.

Well, lets hope the test units get 2800mah batteries and end user variants get at least 3200mah batteries and that there is some magical hardware power optimizations done. Also at least 4gb of ram, we are just ~13h away from 2016 now and 3gb in a smartphone is going the way of the high end mid ranger. Want to upgrade to the g5 from my tired s3, but will stick with it or look elsewere if the g series goes the way of the optimus (no sd, no removable battery and a mild upgrade to a moded i9305).
