It only had 5 minuted of fame. lol!

Nokia tries so hard to be iPhone and Android. Well news flash.. they sck and they can never try to copy iPhone and definitely not Android. They sck and try so hard to make a new os but it all ends up being slow and boring with no apps. I'm not surprised about symbian dropping loads of market share. The iPhone and Android are eating them. Next thing you know it will be only 0.00001% market share lol! Even the latest surveys shows nokia's scky os will drop badly in the next couple of years. lol! Android and iPhone FTW!

ix, 16 Apr 2010Hey ppl? Can't you see that all manufacturers feel so threa... moreSimple vs complicate:
Have you noticed how smartphones today, errrm... have desktops? A fully working bluetooth, widgets, memory cards, removable batteries and even "advanced" functions like exposure control?
+many more: http://tiny.cc/iPhone3GS_review
Only conclusion is iPhone is a simple phone for simple users, while the other brands address to more sophisticated clients.
I can certainly compare how poor 2G and 3G sold compared to 5800:
http://www.ixplora.com/nokia-5800-outsells-apple-iphone/
The fact that apple still has poor sales and can't afford different designs (heck, they all look the same) doesn't really concern me.
http://gigaom.com/2010/03/18/the-mobile-os-market/
What amuses me is how you fanboys and apple together are desperate and act exactly the same (apple threatens developer to remove android mention from"credits" section of his app):

Hey ppl? Can't you see that all manufacturers feel so threatened from the iphone that they try to replicate all aspects of the Apple's business model like stores, simplistic functionality, form factor and so on and so on...Once big and respected now they all became just imitators...How could you compare the sales figures of 20 Nokia smartphones to just one device? Apple don't have to market more devices than just one, because it's perfect. Yes, it's perfect and all-round for the average user. I don't need any other crappy and poor implemented functionality...

tawd, 16 Apr 2010MeeGo is looking pretty awesome. Definitely a LOT of potent... moreBefore the iSheep used to start negative comments about anything to do with Nokia and promote their iPhones. Looks like Nokia fanboys have started to hit back but gone a step too far with what seems to be Nokia fanboy starting the iPhone debate in this news report.

MeeGo is looking pretty awesome. Definitely a LOT of potential by utilizing cross-platform flexibility. Seems microsoft is trying to do the same with Windows Phone 7/Xbox/Windows 7, which, in my opinion, is another good idea.
On a different note, why do people always bring up the IPhone on every comments section? This has nothing to do with Apple... This is Intel & Nokia we're talking about. I clicked on this news link to read about MeeGo, not the fruit phone. Please keep all the comments on this particular subject (ie act like mature, aware adults).

D-DAY, 16 Apr 2010really don't see the difference between iPhone and Nokia us... moreAh not really, if iphone sucks it does not mean nokia sucks to!!!
Wot hardware you are talking about, the iphone hardware is used just for UI animation representation and games in that small screen 480x320, but there is no possible multitasking or multiconnection or multiplatform like nokia does on that lower hardware configuration it does, otherwise if you like to be chased like little child anytime you enter other community forums, than go ahead...lol!
Maybe iphone users have to pay to enter their community forum to...lol!

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2010Apple sales won't fall because they keep on coming up "... moreYou did say in some of your past post that video calling is not important to you iphone fan boys.
Apple did not invented video call, multi- tasking or a4 cpu, most of the technology that apple used in the iphone models is made by nokia, siemans, samsung, fingerworks, cisco, arm, inter, hp, dell, plam, microsoft.
So for you to say that apple is an inventive company you would be so very wrong.

really don't see the difference between iPhone and Nokia users. Both brag about silly things; "Nokia are the biggest seller!" "No! iPhone's the best, because it has the most apps!". The truth is, both companies are good at making a suckers out of 'joe public'. Neither offer anything great, just a lot useless crap, things that distract us from how "naff" the phones are. Spec wise neither have produced anything good. they seem to lack quality on the basic things. Hardware is equally important as the software. they try to hide that with cheap tricks... Apps!

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2010Why, doesn't apple advertise sales? Are they so bad? Sad... moreApple sales won't fall because they keep on coming up "innovative" things such as having a video calling camera on the new iPhone. Wow, I have never heard of such innovation. Steve Jobs is smart, he takes something that was already there and markets it heaps to make it look like it was something new that he came up with. That is the way apple operates, and very successfully must I add. I believe sales of the iPhone will decrease as the other companies catch up but not too low because of publicity and the huge fan base.

Just a thought though, if this MeeGo OS will be crossplatform/multi-device compatible, there is also a big chance of information theft isn't it? Well, that is unless the people behind this development would somehow restrict downloading information from your laptop to the mobile phone unless there is some tight security as means of confirmation?
This is just an opinion, I mean the big guys there would have had already thought of this, but in the case where a user had accidentally lost his phone and there is no phone lock or something like that, active on the stolen phone then will there be a way for the owner to send some sort of deactivation sms or code in a form of call that will wipe out the device contents?
Cheers.

Why has someone started talking about the iphone here of all places? This isnt about that. It's about an upcoming OS. I like my iphone, but I'm not going to defend it when someone comes on and merely spouts fanboy rage.

The iDon't list: http://tiny.cc/iPhone3GS_review
He goes into shock and starts swearing (of course on the nokia forums because no one else puts apple to shame like they do: http://gigaom.com/2010/03/18/the-mobile-os-market/ )
Having nothing better to say he starts trolling about ovi store downloads without knowing that there are other two large companies that provide apps for symbian aka nokia and sony.
Unfortunately what the poor soul hasn't raised is not only that the apps for symbian are three times more than those for iPhone, but we also get them cracked for free :))
This one supposes a link to a warez site, but those are not hard to find at all;)

"lol. 1.6apps only on the ovi store. xD hahah! lame! Apple has gone BILLIONS!"
Is that how intelligent you are? That you miss-read a headline in which it clearly states 1.6 DOWNLOADS OF APPS, not 1.6 million apps. And do you really believe that apple has billions of apps? I wonder how low your IQ is, maybe you should get an app for that and check.
Also mentioning the total apps there is is stupid, if you really want to compare, compare how many unique apps there is. Counting the 500 calculator apps as individuals is stupid.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2010I think the company's sold their contracts in the name of i... moreSpeaking of goons, looks like apple is as frightened as it's iSheep (most probably because they don't stand a chance with such bad sales) :))
http://www.downloadsquad.com/2010/02/04/apple-orders-android-mention-scrubbed-from-app-store/
I believe the next logical move is to make their own iSearch that excludes all competing brands from the search results :))
So funny how much apple strugles to keep it's fanboys misinformed and indoctrinated :))
