Overall, Nokia sold 431.8 million devices in 2009 (67.8 million of them were smartphones)

Overall, Apple sold 25 million, how pathetic is that =))))
Like who would buy a headset without bluetooth =)))))

[deleted post]Why, doesn't apple advertise sales? Are they so bad?

Sad thing that only fanboys want an iPhone :))

Did you know that the percent of Mac users around the world is 5% :))
Sure it sold great in the begining... until people got tired of the lack of inovation.

I give iPhone 3% or less market penetrance in the next years:)))

Oh look, here's another article of how bad apple sells compared to nokia and RIM :))

If you look at the more recent ones we've shown you, you can see how apple starts to sink =))

They've been very quiet about it. Personally, I think the iphone has had it's day. It's still a quality device despite what some people here say ;) But if the N8 delivers, it will set a new standard.

It will be an interesting year what with Android, Maemo and Symbian 3 ^^

                  http://www.gsmarena.com/sony_ericsson_p800-326.php

iPhone is 4 fail, no flash, no java, no themes, no widgets, no bluetooth, no file management without itunes, no usb, no desktops, no native multitasking, no nothing!

I mean come on! smartphones have multitasking since 1993! Are you THAT behind apple?

WoW! they blew it before releasing the device :))

I wonder why Intel have chosen to go with nokia and not apple?
Actually how come no one has chosen to support apple ever?

Must have a lot to do with the don of reasons mentioned here:
                  http://tiny.cc/iPhone3GS_review

Or perhaps because apple only has one device that doesn't attract almost anybody?

I think it's because apple is behind with the masses and Intel only goes with the winners ;)

I think it is going to be good option for everyday use at home and on the way of this device and OS, but i suppose they should integrate RFID sensor to devices as well for easy automated transition in between devices....!

The app icons look too basic though (black with a colour lines across it). Imagine having 20 apps your gonna be confused!

To make a platform which works in about every kind of device isn't very good! I prefer OS made only for smartphones! Tjey do better job! However, I would like to try meego! :)

I think the combination of Intel/Nokia will be quite powerful in the medium to long term for the future of smart-phones at least. In the near term it should be exciting to see MeeGo gain traction against Android and other competing operating systems.

For the iPhone fan boys, the iPhone sucks.
