This is just a prototype and not the finished product. One of my friend works for nokia and I have seen a nokia prototype which looks bad. But when the final model comes out, they are good.....

So I believe the finished product will be much better than what is looks like in prototype. The prototype has got only features and not the look and feel.

      Cheers

Rudeboi, 23 Apr 2010Wow are apple fans excited about their possible new device ... moreUpdating the same device is actually a good thing. The first gen iphone still takes advantage of the 4.0 update. The iphone is the most entertaining phone. It's users can't take their hands off it. As for video calls, that feature is overrated. No one uses it. It's more popular in computers and laptops, not on phones. And what unreal Apple reports are you referring to? If the ultimate device is your n900, it would sell more than the iphone since they are in the same price range. But you see, the unit sales of your n900 does not even come close to the number of units the iphone sold. So stop your make believe.

Wow are apple fans excited about their possible new device and this time a really different device. I'm actually excited for them because Apple has been updating the same deevice for so long it got boring. I actually wondering how they going to use the front facing camera seeing that America carriers don't support this type of calls even though I'm able to make and recieve video calls using my N900 through google talk. I am so sick of the over hyped of Apple products by reporters that it's unreal, when so many other devices offer more at a cheaper price. Competition is good and let's see what Apple can deliever but the ultimate device is still the N900 WHICH CAN DO IT ALL

He was testing it to make calls, send emails, send sms, etc. But yes, Apple has very strict guidelines as to the safekeeping of their prototypes, but they do test them out as well.

Anonymous, 21 Apr 2010So how's that smart social integration working on iphone? ... moreThe iphone's os and interface is so fluid and smooth that switching between apps is a breeze. As a human being, I can do better one thing at a time. Although the iphone does have push notificarions that would send a pop up on your screen in case you get an im. So it is not only your Nokia device that can do that. You obviously haven't used an iphone.

Now how does the situation get dramatic on the iphone when checking your email and web surfing? It's very easy on the iphone.

As for desktop w/ interactive contents, I don't think we need more running apps in the background to suck up battery life that what is only necessary to run in the background. So no. I don't think we would miss or even want that feature.

As for your 6303i. It only has a 2.2 display. It does not have a touchscreen. No multitouch. No wifi. Only has 55mb internal memory. Video can only record at 8fps. Only has 240x320 resolution. Does not have access to the App Store. Does not have Mobile Me. No 3g support. Does not have a qwerty keyboard, and more. So for you to even compare that basic phone to an iphone already shows that you are not a smart person :)

As for those links with iphone issues in them. Believe me, Nokia has more reported issues than the iphone.

Ceramic would look more elegant and would not scratch. And it is a special kind of ceramic that Apple patented, so that your nokia devices could not copy it :) Jealous? Hahaha. I guess you have no choice but to stick with Nokia's cheap plastic :)

My iphone does not creak like nokia devices do. My iphone also has a glass screen that does not scratch like nokia devices do. So I think Nokia is the one manufacturing phones using cheap materials, not Apple :)

Also, talk to me when you can actually provide a link that says that the next iphone looks like a nokia. A link that is not from an anti-iphone blogsite :)

I dont believe this phone was lost at all. Phones like this are not allowed out of secure buildings, they are signed for, security tagged and audited constantly...this looks more like the work of a clever viral marketing campaign by Apple to drive up marketing and user hype - very clever, and its working.

it's an app that stops every update download or upload once you try to access your instant messenger and once you swick back to the facebook app you get logged out of instant messaging.

Now the situation gets even more dramatical when yo try to check an email or access thde web.

Iphone users are smart user because they can install apps and, use them one at a time and send mails. I do this since 2001.

Just so that you don't get left behind, on a nokia you can see status updates from your favourite social network and recieve instant messaging the same way as sms - all that witout evan opening an app.

I should aslo mention the "desktop" with interactivde content and widgets which you still seem to miss in 2010 :)

tell me perhaps what can iphone do that 6303i can't?

Maybe I'm living under a well, though where I live, which also offers X6, from my observation, there has been more of almost any other almighty brand's smartphones, from various E & N series, to the "number" series like 5800/5xxx, or whatever 6-series which the almighty brand often claims it "sells more smartphones than anyone else", (even though in reality most 6 series, if not some E series, users have never utilized the "smart" functions of the phone, then X6.

Your so called statistics, (which I couldn't open the link, but still doubt the article explicitly stated X6 sold 10 mill units) would imply total aales of E&N series = to that of X6? That sounds like a joke to me.

I know at least 3 of my friends who are currently users of the almighty brand are claiming their next phones would definitely be iphone, and several existing iphone users I know used to have the almighty brand's phones.

Maybe I'm just a frog under a well, still the reality is I still see more iphones with "Smart" users than any single "smart" phone model of the almighty brand where I live...NOT in US.

Anonymous, 21 Apr 2010Of course Apple would refer to them as iphones? What else ... moreIn my own opinion, definition of a "smartphone" is how the end users really know / utilize the "smart" functions of a phone.

Most (if not all) iphone users I know how to downlaod / install apps on their phones. Meanwhile, most users of the almighty brand's "smart" phones, especailly those using the S40 platform, only use the phone to call / SMS...

An OL of my company just got an E63, and I think she knows my company's computer system much better than Symbian.

Hence statics of "almightry brand sold x number units of smartphones" doesn't really mean these are "smart" phone users, if they only use the phone for calls / SMS.
