So what if he was using Nokia devices in the past? Maybe due to his frustrations with it, he decided to come up with his own mobile phone.
The n810 was announced in October of 2007. That is already after the 1st gen iphone was released. So again you are wrong. And again, the iphone is Newton inspired. Newton is a Pda released by Apple in the 1980's. So as you can see, Apple already had a touchscreen device in the 80's.
Apple maybe a novice in the mobile phone world, but not in computers and os's. How hard could it be for Apple to create their own cellphone?!
You are right that Nokia was not intimidated and could care less for the iphone when the 1st iphone was released. They thought that Apple's idea of a full touchscreen phone will not take off, when the rest of the mobile industry were already following Apple's direction. They thought that it would be a shortlived trend. Hence they refused to produce any full touchscreen phone and released the epic failing n96, hahahaha. And that is the reason why Samsung, Lg and htc has surpassed Nokia in the touchscreen phone competition. And Nokia sales in the high end phone category has been declining ever since (after n95).
Using standard technology is not stealing. Because if that is the case, then Nokia stole from Motorola, because motorola released mobile phones before nokia.

The iphone is Newton PDA inspired, which Apple started out way back 1989. Apple had touchscreen devices even before Nokia released their first cell phones.

honestly speaking to tell you the truth the design is not good and the old iphones are much better looking rather than this new iphone and it's to bulky and heavy!!! and what's new about that this phone having a Led flash that's to old already, xenon flash was introduced way back 2004 so that's nothing new and about 5 megapixels heller they should made it 8 megapixels and we don't know if this phone is capable of being a good phone, so there's nothing new except its internal memory which is 80Gb and nothing more...
