Anonymous, 19 Apr 2010Many sites may have gone iPad-friendly with non-Flash pages... moreSad to say but yes they are going that far following the Apple. They under command of Apple (or Jobs) are up to murder Flash and we have seen how Apple's follower blindly do what Jobs said.

As far as I know, Flash is not going anywhere, it introduces some of the best experience on web and change websites as we know them before.

Well this thread is being doused in the flames of fanboyism and mud-slinging. Much better than the spam-ridden iPhone 4G article below this one.

In my opinion, let's just see what happens when Android devices start to implement the Flash 10.1 software. Remember this is still in closed beta stage, so anything could happen in the final release.

Flash Player on E71 does not do all flash content -seriously.

It would be nice as a WAP experience to be able to enjoy rich content on your mobile and no doubt more people would use WAP - you are right though they have been messing around with this stuff for years. You can see why Apple might want to walk away from it and gamble on the future of web getting smarter (am not even gonna go there)
Would love it if flash made its way to RIM that might be fun...aint gonna stop me hating Blackberry if it doesnt though there are much more interesting things than gadgets

(I have an E71 BTW - and it is OK ;working for a phone company I sort of collect them, and I thought I would just pick up an S60 phone cheap as my old 3250 doesnt have wifi)

I agree is true though about Nokia touchscreens but I hate touchscreens anyway

this is innovation, such controversy over FLASH PLAYER

            just cause of the iPhone

this is usually the part when i start bashing the iPhone but the leaked iPhone is so sick

man the fact that iSheep hate the new iPhone makes it so much sweeter

            yea!

android fanboy, 19 Apr 2010better late than never by the way android OS is waaaaaay be... moreso true! symbian is left in the dust. and lol! 640x360 res is so like 3 years ago. and no multi-touch is seriously lame. And there's the double tap on the resistive screens. the extremely slow buggy os. and I double that. symbian should rest in peace... Android is the future.

you have to use the newset version of droid
v1.0 -2.1 is worse then the symbian versions
plus it supported flash for so long and 10.1 is going to every platform plut your browser doesn't even support so we symbian users are still laughing at everyone

This is probably the best thing to ever arrive on a mobile device. If it kicks off well, we'll be looking at the real capability of handhelds fitted with snapdragons and arms' . Truly an achievement. Just hope it kicks off.

Maemo has alot of features that Android is missing. I am not trying to bash Android because its a very good OS but you should really try both you make these claims.

Skyfire already handles Flash 10.1 and almost all other formats, so you do not need to wait for this because you can simply install Skyfire today to handle flash 10.1.
