You can see the performance compare between Xiaomi Redmi note 3 (Mediatek Processor) with Xiaomi Mi 4c (Qualcom processor).
It's almost same specification but Redmi note 3 performance much lower than Mi 4c

Hahaha surprising, I was guessing they'll make a flagship phone with brand new ULTIMATE EXORDINARY POWERFULL STRONG Snapdragon 617 series chipset.
Oh you Adreno 405, how amazing you areeeee!!!!
                ...
In this case, they going to ask appr. 6-7 hunderds of dollars of it.

                  their Mobie phone chips.
Huawei already started mass producing and using their Kirin SoC.
It's only a matter of time for Qualcomm to become something of the past.
                  Fingers crossed on the SD820

If Qualcomm really strikes such a special deal with Samsung, then Qualcomm will go bankrupt within a few years, because all other manufacturer will switch to Mediatek.
Sony, LG, Xiaomi, Huawei, and all others will get so upset because that means Qualcomm is pissing urine on them on behalf of Samsung.
Qualcomm is not that dumb. They realize they can not do monogamy with Samsung because that decision will put their own company to the brink of total collapse, even when Samsung has the largest market share.
Samsung has the own SOC, and at anytime can leave Qualcomm alone.
If other manufacturers leave Qualcomm, then Samsung will single-handedly make Qualcomm the slave wife.
If Qualcomm is really taking such a stupid deal, Qualcomm's CEO deserves to be fired immediately without bonus.

                                2GB/16GB = 1,799 Yuan
                                3GB/16GB = 1,999 Yuan
                                3GB/64GB = 2,499 Yuan

If they do launch a lower priced version, I hope they go with at least 32GB, or in the worst case, if it 16GB, then there MUST be a card slot, and NOT a hybrid one.

However, I think the screen resolution should remain the same. The 1080p version (with a mid-range processor) will probably be launched later as Mi5c/Mi5i.
