The Identilock won't let you pull the trigger unless your fingerprint checks out

09 January, 2016
The Identilock attaches to your choice of firearm thanks to interchangeable adapters and covers the trigger guard and trigger itself, making the gun inoperable.

At least it'll make some kid taking daddy's 9mm to school less dangerous...

AnonD-286474, 09 Jan 2016I expected something built into the gun like in sci fi futu... morethat would be a new gun entirely....
this is more lyk an accessory for d guns dat r already der.....
and almost all hand guns are mostly just mechanical instruments and doest not hav any electronic components atleast as of today, and dats wat makes it more reliable.
introduce a fingerprint scanner and a chipset and it all becomes a hot mess. (see smartphone industry)

Where R the LAser GUns!! plz

              *A burglar entered house
*You pointed your gun with this attachment
              *the conversion goes like this
You- don't move... (click click)(trying to find the trigger)
Burglar- I will clean the house till you find out where is the trigger.
              You-(Poker face)
Burglar(while escaping)- Don't use snapdragon 820 in this

              Jokes apart
It is quite useful innovation to prevent illegal use of your arms in case they are stolen though only useful for normal point and shoot range. Nor practical for quick defence unless it has the snapdragon 820 and its rapid finger scanner
