Well moto will lose a huge chunk in the budget bracket if there is no budget phones. Many people don't know the vibe phones, so there is no point that replacing mote e with vibe phones.

The news are wrong when say's "no Moto E this year"!

Moto E will grow from 4.5 to 5" and Moto G will grow from 5 to 5.2/5.3" and Moto X will be 5.5" or maybe 5.7".

                  All i know is that...

Google Services coming back to China should had been the headline instead. All I read was blablabla until the last paragraph caught my attention.

I would thinking about this years DROID device instead.
Maybe end of the Verizon's DROID line?
it has rumors last year as well.

AnonD-468210, 12 Jan 2016What I feel is that's a good move. Moto moniker reserved on... morewith that specs what you expect it can be a Vibe device,

And yes, we dont need the fingerprint sensor, but hyped as hell...
The most people just using as an excuse to puling down other manufacturers phones.
The LG packed up everything their phone and still peoples complaining.
They complained about packed a SD808 instead of SD810 because that is a latest SoC, what if they coming out with that SoC? Still complaining because the Overheating Hype.

The winner of last year is the Huawei, Xiaomi, ZTE. These chinese companies do the right thing.
I will waiting for the next Moto, and will see... time to change ZTE Z11 coming soon.

iOS to Android: Welcome to 2013!

The lower end market is filled with brands like Xiaomi meizu and Lenovo themselves so it doesn't make sense to launch cheap Motorola phones which will just damage the brand image its the right step for Motorola to live on in the high end segment that's where it deserves to be.

Moto will be used for High end phones!!
Which means Moto G series would be ripped off-Wrong move Lenovo.
Moto G series loyal customers will go away if G series is not considered nder Moto Tag.

Best decision by Lenovo the budget market is already covered by brands like Xiaomi meizu and Lenovo themselves giving away Motorola devices for cheap rates like Lenovo phones will just spoil the brand image so its for the better that Motorola will live on in the high end segment.

It is disgusting to plan motorola phones as high end price segment devices, and not with less thn 5" display.
