I think there will be a Moto E - or perhaps a Vibe E, with a 5 inch display. I would think that it will 720p at that res, and that means that hopefully the G will be stepping up to 1080p this year.

You know what nobody wants? 268 variations of a flagship device (Moto X Pure, Play...). I think they want to kill Motorola to have less competition.

Moto is the first mobile phone put fingger print back in atrix 2011. We dont need that anyway, I prefer infra red for remote, the best chip on earth, and long suport update, since moto leave xt1053 with bug on boot and no further stage frige update like xperia patch every month

What I feel is that's a good move. Moto moniker reserved only for higher end phones. This will create a great image for Moto in the minds of people. And Moto offerings for its prices are just awesome so this idea will work well. Looking forward for Moto G4. Expecting 5" 720p with hefty battery much like 3000+ mah and Snapdragon 6** processor coupled with 3 GB ram maybe and a decent cam combo
