Nokia tried to sell some other things but cell phones are really all they have.

Nokia's sales in Japan were so dismal they pulled out, apart from Vertu.

Honestly the last few years i have been a good Nokia fan. To me, Nokia had experience in making phones... they are not at the edge of technology but they products are mostly pretty solid and user friendly. But i know i am not going to be a Nokia fan any longer... I own a N97 mini.... as of today my text messages are still do not have a correct time stamp. Once iphone 4g comes up... I'll either get that or a blackberry... The reality is that Iphone's got thousands of apps to play with.. and with a big screen to access web. ... as for the Ovi Store?? it takes me like a minute to just go to the next page. honestly i want Nokia to make it through... but they disappointed me..

JTS, 23 Apr 2010U mean u had an iphone than a nokia e52 i think not u had neitherIt was like this, a D500, a D880 Duos, then a Iphone 2G and the Duos, then just the Duos, and then the Nokia E52. The best on Nokia E52 is the battery life. It's battery lasts 6 days on GSM (no 3G), cca 55 mins calls a day, 2 or 3 or 0 sms, no wlan, no internet, the phone is on day and night. You have to admit, symbian as advanced as it is, still is as boring as a samsung. The UI is 8 yrs old. The only reason I sold the 2G was because of being forced to have a company and a private number. A few months ago I made my private number my business number. The only reason I don't have a 3GS is because I asked questions on the Gsmarena 3GS forum about battery life. The answer was if you don't use 3G, wlan, games and internet, and if the phone is on day and night, it can last 30 hours. As I am used to the 6 days of battery life of my E52 I will have to wait for some Iphone HD battery life reviews. If it can live 48 hours without a charge, I'll take it. P.S. what I hate about the E52 is the constant being out of memory (although it has an empty 4GB microsd card). There is nothing installed on the phone. Everything is on the microsd, but when surfing the internet (only really twice or three times a month, the cache of 5MB get's full and I have to clear all data from the browser). I can't find a solution. Nokia should be ashamed that I have this problem. Ashamed.

I have a E52. It is the most perfect Nokia phone since the 3310. It is also the most boring phone on the market. I have tried working on a 5800 touchscreen Nokia. It's hell. It can't be compared to an iphone (as I used to have the 2G) If Nokia wan't to improve, they have to buy Palm. Do you read this Nokia? Buy Palm!!! Symbian is boring!!!!!! The symbian on the 5800 is even more boring and not responsive at all... Ah to hell with it, I'll just buy a Iphone 4G.

If you want to compare like this, try this on for size then
The SE Vivaz has 8.1MP with 720p HD video recording with continuous auto focus.
How does the 3.2MP with VGA video iPhone compare now? =)
And,
The Samsung Wave has a 480x800 super AMOLED screen.
Compare that to the 320x480 TFT screen on the iPhone then. ^^
Don't get me wrong, this is fair in terms of pricing and market. Heck, both are cheaper than the iPhone =.=
