I hate that demos are counted as separate apps.
That's what is inflating the counts of all the app stores.

From what i've gathered, most of the overpriced iphone apps is available free in android market, yes most. From what i've experienced, ALL the apps or equivalent apps available in iphone/android store can be acquired absolutely free for symbian v5. And this is exactly the problem, most people don't know how much app is available for symbian because they just don't know where to shop. And they think OVI is THE shop ha..ha. Owning symbian phone is like having a diamond studded 24carat clit-ring....i think. Or maybe like an unattractive, old, skinny, almost blind chinese kung-fu master.....yeah.

Yeah right go talk with the wall,one of the main reason nokia failed and keep loosing market is no app.store,no top-notch developers wants to make great apps & games for symbian,look at android,look how fast their android market grow,now where's ovi store before Apple came with App.store?but hey it's better for you before your crappy e72 gets hang and broken because of its low budget hardware.
Meanwhile stick with that tiny screen and laggy performance of e72,be happy with your false happiness.

Unfortunately Android is still lacking in business apps compared to other systems. Also, there's no MetrO (or equivalent) for Android. Try using Google maps when travelling in Asia or Middle East - the bill for data roaming is huge and the public transport information is unreliable (even for the UK).

qwerty slide out (must have the option of physical / digital screen if the phisical screen is not opened in landscape)

Well...that's why I love Android..I mean I'm not the only one. So many people have come to realized that it's the best mobile platform. The more I use and play with my Nexus One the more I love the device. No it's not gonna take a long time to see Android on the top of the list!!!

Looks like android is the future. I like it more than iphone/app store. But then there's so many useless crappy apps like in every other stores. And you have to buy most of those in App store. Why isn't nokia coming up with an Android. I like Nokia because they never have to try too hard. They don't have too put all the bells and whistle to sell well. And that's something in business.

Though there's a lot of very useful apps in the Android Market like alternative sms/mms, music apps, financial monitoring, and weather/earthquake alerting apps but there's a lot of repetitive apps/games like sodoku and cartoon slide puzzles and then theres total garbage like that Dev AROMA PLANNING. I love Android and my Nexus One (started with G1 and somehow ended buying a Nokia N900 but sold and bought my N1)

How much of them really usefull is the question i myself an user of Nexus one - Android OS but when i browse the market in the phone most of them are just as not as usefull like bikni images etc.

FYI the iPhone does have an email client and as someone else said it does read PDF files. Why do you have to get so worked up about something as little as owning a MOBILE PHONE. It is everyone's choice on what they want to buy. You actually really have a big time hate of iPhone, grow up, WHO CARES. Maybe Nokia will pay you to mention their products? Do you have shares in Nokia? Get the damn phone that suits you who cares if it is an iPhone, Android based, Symbian or Bada or whatever other OS is out there.
Also there is no such thing as unlimited apps on E72. So great if you are running an office from your cardboard city with an E72 to compose and edit office docs, maybe you want a projector on there to stop you squinting and endlessly scrolling? How do you happen to know about and be interested in those recreational apps that you mentioned on the iPhone?
Laptops & desktops beware, 3.5" screens are gonna be taking over your office productivity suites.

lmao, 25 Apr 2010are you serious? The apple market is a joke compared to an... moremy wife is using iphone, and I'm using Android based Motorola Milestone.
My wife loves the Missile Command clone game on my Milestone, and when she looked for a similar app on App Store, the only ones she found were the "complicated" version...
Sometimes people don't find things being too advance is always good.
Of course the case above is only incidental. So far where I live, all Android apps are free of charge while some apps on Apple do cost $.
I'm very happy with my Android phone with the Android market.

I'm proud to own an Android device. I've never really been happier with any other device to be honest. Had several Nokia devices, which were great but not user friendly in any way. Had an iPhone, but something was missing there. Had the UI experience, but couldn't truly customize it to my likings. Until Android. It's definately for me!

symbian, 25 Apr 2010As a symbian user i look at this news and laugh my e72 unli... morex years ago the almighty brand released certain 6 series phone which supported "viewing" PPT via the super (small) size screen.
I asked several attendees in my business training classes as if they ever used it, none of them said yes, not to mention a good number of them didn't even know their phones supported such functions.
Meanwhile, whether or not the apps on Apple or Android market are useful, people are still downloading them, that means whatever doesn't seem useful to YOU apparently are useful for users of these phones.
