lol, 14 Jan 20165 inch with 2000 mah battery. look like asus still didn't l... moreJesus, seems like you don't know how batteries are based on phones really... Battery is based mostly based on PPI since this phone has 720p display, PPI number is small also Processor will not have heavy work on that phone, so processor shouldn't even have heat/overheat in day to day use. 2000 mah is just enough. Asus would have gone with bigger battery if display was 1080p really.

At $211, yup, it is official that Xiaomi, Lenovo, or Huawei is giving Asus a difficult competition. I did not want to see Asus struggling yet

Raph4, 14 Jan 2016The $99 price tag seems feasible to me. Brazil's prices are... moreYeah I feel sorry for Brazil, every smartphone over there is significantly expensive when compared to rest of the world.
I hope this phone does not launch globally , not even for $99. Anyone who can pay $100 can pay $3 more and buy the Redmi 3 or Lemon 3. This is the kind of phone I would expect from Samsung , a well established company who can take more than a few 'failure-models' not Asus , which is yet to crack even top 5. Their Zenfone series is excellent value for money though . This is a joke next to those models.

Sorry Asus but this phone is stupid. They should have gone with Qualcom 410 or mediatek Mt6735 which are better and have LTE support.
