Price

For a 10k price point its a great deal! The screen could be under 5" though for a better battery efficiency.

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2016 redmi3 looks more beautiful...ya its really beautiful

My first 5.5" had a 720p and I had to get rid of it and go for 1080p. I find 720p good on 5" displays!

AnonD-468210, 15 Jan 2016This device is meant for power average users. The lower res... morethe screen is still huge, wich means it will use a lot of power. it should have been 4.7-5". to give the power saving idea. the bigger screen=the more power used. even with low resolution. there are better size phones with good battery and better price for the specs.

The lower resolution helps for better standby and even 410 has proved it's efficiency in the low budget spectrum. So overall for the price it asks one should go for this one.

Zenodroid, 15 Jan 2016Sad that a better battery costed all the hardware. Slow cpu... moreIt's a mid-range device. It has mid-range specs.. 2Gb and 16Gb it's enough for day to day tasks. Ppi is not everything on a display.. 270 ppi is not breath taking, but it does the job.
For QHD and 4Gb..that's a different planet..

Sad that a better battery costed all the hardware. Slow cpu, few and slow ram. Huge screen for a low resolution. Even elephone beat that one on performance, hardware and price.
