15 January, 2016
The Xperia Z3 and Z3 Compact suddenly look more appealing.

Chen, 15 Jan 2016I'm very sure the very small percentage of Xperia users in ... moreNice, so essentially if you don't have an Xperia, keep you trap shut right??

Wonder if that could be applied to all the non-iPhone users ragging on Apple for the proposed removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack??

Or is it going to be necessary for commenters to somehow prove they own a specific device before commenting???

I'm very sure the very small percentage of Xperia users in the US will not mind; esp; since carriers such as VZW and others cancelled the Z4.
They'd be happy to be rocking the Z5, with or without fingerprint sensor; and if it's absolutely crucial to get have the sensor, then import one from oversees.
ALSO the ones here criticizing Sony for this move, aren't even Xperia users; so piss off.

        Get the international version

??? isn't Sony z5 released like ages ago? I thought US gets phones first and for the cheapest price... just like nexus... and why remove fingerprint? In the US fingerprint is probably already available like android pay or something like that and they remove fingerprint... why everything goes just reversed?

AnonD-234961, 15 Jan 2016It probably doesn't work well.Yes it does! No issues at all ;)

Sony should be more open to the public about the reasons why and from whome is it's mobile buissness being undermined in US...

                  Odd indeed???

Does that mean they are going to go back to the more iconic round power button???

And what about the Premium? or is that not due for release in the states??

                    ...why???? this makes no sense.
Now to be fair I use the finger print sensor maybe 40% of the time. for some reazon i still go for the pin lock function, but the finger print does come in handy sometimes. I don't use tap to pay services but I'm sure some people would had appreciated the extra security the sensor provides.
