the police action is simply to send a message by apple to anyone who dared to follow or tried to leak apple's products that this is what will happen to you . and i thought this kind of thing happen only in some third world banana republic. it seems in the united states of america, this can also be done under the guise of legal whatever. maybe all the cops who participated in this raid along with the judge who issued the warrant will get free iphone 4g.

Remember when Gizmodo got banned from CES:-

"We have been informed of inappropriate behavior on the show floor by a credentialed media attendee from the Web site Gizmodo, owned by Gawker Media. Specifically, the Gizmodo staffer interfered with the exhibitor booth operations of numerous companies, including disrupting at least one press event. The Gizmodo staffer violated the terms of CES media credentials and caused harm to CES exhibitors. This Gizmodo staffer has been identified and will be barred from attending any future CES events. Additional sanctions against Gizmodo and Gawker Media are under discussion."

A bunch of rich kid's whose "pranks" overstepped the mark.

Apple didn't even report the phone stolen.

THE POLICE SAW LAWS BEING BROKEN and acted.

My advice to all tech news stations: never publish any news tnat related to apple, mac, ipad, iphone or anything related jobs' shits! Maybe they could learn one or two that they are NOTHING without press big help for publicity.

oh its funny how Steve Jobs is a buddhist, but he owns a company based on material goods, that pray on the innocent like vultures.

Steve Jobs always treated people like garbage. For him, the ends justify the means as long as he gets what he wants. In this case what he wants is a childish vendetta on the guy who leaked the specs. Just think of it: Jobs has his employees constantly under threat not to divulge any "secrets" and they come out because of the simplest thing in the world: someone forgot his phone at a bar. Because he can't sue misluck, he his trying to get his revenge spoiling the life of everyone involved in this incident. This only confirms the impression that a lot of people have of him: a spoiled rich SOB.

It seems Apple collectively are losing what common sense they have left. They think they are so superior it's bordering on ludicrousness. Just goes to show who really are wolves in sheep's clothing. Apple as the oppressed? My *ss! More like they're the oppressors! And they already know they can buy their brand of justice! Well, I guess "when in Rome, do as the Romans do", huh Steve?

Apple is all about money, I know they're a business, but is seems to me that they don't really care about the people. They bring out a 'new' version of the iPhone every few months, boasting a better camera, Bluetooth or faster processor or whatever! but these are feature that are out on nearly every other phone company months before apple, and they act as if it’s something new! Apple and the iPhone are a RIP-OFF, and it would be funny if so many people didn't buy into the idea that apple is somehow, better or superior to other brands. This latest incident with Chen is just another move by apple to show how incompetent they are! As for me I'm going to keep my eye for some of the real innovators of phone design like HTC, they may be small now compared to the mighty apple corporation, but even the great roman empire fell to its knees, and if apple don't fix-up and quick, they may wake up to find their empire in ruins!
