Samsung is not that good at optimizing their software to work in harmony with their hardware. Galaxy S6 has a RAM management issue, and has horrible battery life despite the "optimizations" they allegedly made. Also out of the top Android skins Samsung's Touchwiz remains the laggiest, and most buggy out of the bunch.. all this coming from personal experience with various Samsung handsets..

Will be very dissapointed if this result will be the final for the 8890. Hope the final versions will be much more better.

It's not very good test, but better than Antutu. Antutu trues too measure everything so it dishes out irrelevant numbers (iPhone 6s doubled its score between antutu 5 and 6, it didn't *actually* become faster, Antutu devs just got paid from Apple).

lol, 21 Jan 2016Thanks man, such a superb ROM! Only have to give up camera,... moreOnly the GPU is better, the CPU is not much if an update over s6. And most people only use the CPU (few are hardcore gamers on phones).
Also if you saw that thread the progress is rapid. Same happened with my tablet. At first it had no cm support, now it has full support.
If I want galaxy S6 performance I certainly won't buy S7. I'll just wait for cm to get stable and then buy S6. Cheaper and same performance (except games, but I don't play hardcore games on my phone, I'm not 5).

Kirin seems to have a bit edge over exynos. When we get huawei review i cant claim which gpu is better.

Give it up, S6 released 9 months ago, it will never get fully working CyanogenMod. What is it that you hate about Snapdragon? The benchmarks don't seem to show their weakness.

True it takes more time for exynos to get CM support. But you eventually get it. If you buy qualcomm you'd never get good performance, because bad hardware is bad.
I always buy good hardware. Software is fixable bad hardware ain't.
