This is an amazing phone which was bought in Germany while i was working abroad but has been tested and works perfectly on all UK newtorks. Please note that the TV function on the phone does not Seem to work in the UK, but there could be software somewhere that could fix this. Apart from this the phone has a great specification with Video, MP3 and a 2 Mega Pixel Camera.
PLEASE ADVISE ME IF IT POSSIBLE TO WATCH TV IN THE UK,WITH THIS MODEL LATER ON THIS YEAR WHEN IT COMES OUT,AND WHERE I CAN OPTAIN THE SOFTWARE
MANY THANKS

At 124g, it is amazingly light, given the features.
dvb-h and t-dmb are quite similar. dmb piggy-back on dab while dvb-h is modified from dvb-t.

I like the way you can set it down, to watch the screen. Nice trick.
I was missing that with other designs.
The rest of the phone needs to be inspected yet.

This is gonna suck because of the form factor: It doesn't look easy to hold, esp. for long durations, due to the weight imbalance.

I find it hard to believe that with such a striking design Samsung haven't used NXT sound View speakers?????????????

There is essentially no difference between T-DMB And DVB-H. Both are a version of Digital tramsmisions identical to the digital television we have in our homes. I would question the integration of a T-DMB receiver as DVB-H has been developed specifically for handheld devices.
But not know the technology that well i suppose it's entirely possible. Maybe its a case that T-DMB uses more power as opposed to the optomised handheld version? who knows. The T in T-DMB stands for terrestrial which is what makes me think the information isn't correct, assumedly the bandwidth of a standard digital tv signal would be too high for a handheld to receive. Hence the development of DVB-H. But that's all speculation on my part.

Leejit, Q stands for quater. Q1 for example = january, febuary, march. The other quaters, 2,3,4 are for the remaining months in the year.
Hope this helps.

Great! it is much better compared to nokia n92 according to the size & weight. But may i ask wads the difference between n92's "DVB-H" tv receiver & p900's "DMB-T"?

This looks very promising.
As far as I recall, the asian Samsung phones supporting DMB has had a crappy battery life though, even when not using the features - but it is definitely something new (in Europe) and exciting! :)
I especially like the tilt-function of the phone, which reminds me strongly of the Nokia N92.
