Well, finally stops all these trolls about android (Samsung) copying apple when it seems apple just copied android (htc) feature. Apple has too much money that they don't know what to do so sure now they will throw away headphone jack and add dual camera... super movie apple.

You REALLY think apple is going to put a second camera for you to take a photo with real optical zoom with that tiny sensor?look around you. we became so dumb that we cannot even capture a photo with manual mode.somebody else must do your hard work so you just click on screen and then say WOW! NICE CAMERA! we need more info about camera departure.
its just another story to convince you to change your old iPhone. what is wrong with us?
we just need to be more realistic.Don't let anyone to decide whats best for you! YOU must be the person to DECIDE what you REALLY want! ;)

They've been first to make so many things, but in the end they've failed, because they couldn't make it properly.
Dual camera HTC? Sure, but what does that second camera do? Depth of field control! Completely useless feature! Everyone was hoping for it to be a standard/mid-telephoto module.

dika, 27 Jan 2016you are so dumb, innovative??HTC did it first HTC did a dual camera setup for depth of field control. Everyone was hoping the second camera was a telephoto lens, but HTC royally screwed it up.
This time, Apple will make something that consumers actually want, and I applaud them for listening to consumers.
When will Android manufacturers begin to include a standard/mid-telephoto camera module is beyond me. Hopefully the S7, the G5, Z6 or the M10 will finally have the standard/mid-telephoto module. We've been asking for this for almost 5 years now. Come on Samsung/LG/Sony/HTC! What is taking you so long?

I've been wanting a dual camera android, with a 24mm and a 50/75mm equiv for almost 5 years now. If Apple does come out with this phone, they might just tip the scales enough for some users to switch. I just hope that the largest camera sensor maker on the market - Sony, will finally pull their head out of their a** and will make a compact module with a telephoto lens. This way the Android manufacturers will have options for dual camera setup.
The current DOF control with dual camera setup is a useless gimmic.

                          iPhone design still Poor

As for this rumor.... no. Don't buy it. Safe to say the 7 and 7 Plus will have the exact same optics in the iSight as the 6s and 6s Plus. The 8 megapixel setup lasted from the iPhone 4s until the iPhone 6. It's not gonna leap forward within one generation. I think the iPhone 7 will just be the 6s, but thinner, smaller bezels, fast charging, stereo speakers, and a higher resolution display. Not expecting more. And that would still be enough to improve what already is the best device on the market.

That doesn't sound right, OIS would be much more important on the telephoto lens.

I believe there is the truth in this prediction, just that the analytists mess up the facts and fiction.I strongly believe dual camera setup is the next big thing in iphones, just not in this way.The technology itself was develop to improve picture quality and especially in low light conditions. The prediction of one camera with ois and other with telephoto is utterly nonsence talking. Two identical camera setup working as one unit interpolating the image is the way that technology works, btw it will save trouble and money on Apple as they already had great and tested sensor/lens instead of developing them from scratch. The trick is in the image processing and software side, and if they menaged to get things right(i believe so),than they will have superior 12mp low light photos, and probably interpolated 16mp in good light.P.S.its impossible either of the sensors to be opticaly stabilised, but that shouldnt be an issue with this new tech.
                                    Cheers

Apple, I suggest that you discard the 4.7" and straight away go with 5" for iPhone 7 n 5.5 for iPhone 7 plus. And of course with some new innovation to go with it. It's to boost yr declining sales n to get peoples into iPhone again.
