Gaming isn't something that everyone does and you need to take that into consideration. If you want a phone that can do serious gaming then yes, looking for a better device is understandable. However, it depends on what you use your device for and that can also determine how long it will last. Mobile gamers usually upgrade every year or so to play the latest titles lag-free, whereas casual gamers tend to delay upgrading for a longer period of time.

As enticing the pricing and capability of this phone, remember that this phone have sucky battery life.

My sister owned one, she's a heavy user who at least have to charge it twice per day or sometimes even thrice. So heavy user beware.

"But it's the same for heavy user" No. many mid-range phones within the $250 price range last much longer than this old flagship. It's still a flagship tough and still a bargain at the price. just remember to carry powerbank with you

Indeed. There was a time around the Note 4 launch when people would give anything to get rid of their S5.
It heats up like hell, which in turn slows down the phone massively.I'd say stay away from this and get yourself a Note 3/4 instead.

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2016It's still just 2gb of Ram. That's practically low end spee... mores5 has a very good camera compare to the phone under this price range and a quite other notable features, this was flagship phone until s6 was released

Some people prefer to keep devices for a short period of time, hence why buying the phone can be considered a short-term investment.

I have seen smart-phones with 3GB of ram and still fail to run smoothly, real world usage is what matters. So if people are going to buy this device, they shouldn't have to worry about the tech specs rather reviews or maybe even friends who own the device can give advice. Personally, the phone is fine and the "lack" of ram isn't a problem whatsoever.

It's still just 2gb of Ram. That's practically low end speed wise these days.
I would stay away, so many better options at that price point. Besides 2gb kills any and all longevity of the device
