Anonymous, 28 Jan 2016name one, and it better not be some cheap mediatek oneXiaomi mi4.

The LTE version can be found for $200 in most online shops.

Better cameras (some of the best cameras to this day), MiUI constant support, huge community (cm12.1), Windows 10 support!

You were saying? Oh yes, that that gimmicky company named One plus stands a chance.

Great phone. Had it since November. This week's update fixed all the software bugs it had. Absolutely amazing screen. Only wish it came with USB type C, but I'll live. Highest possible recommendation.

It's because the company is not capable for mass production yet. My guess is when they cut out the invite system thay have enough phones and production rate to keep up with the demands

Muthu, 28 Jan 2016Well, Redmi Note 3 has better CPU power, but slightly infer... moreI have to admit one more point - I am a fan of Snapdragon Socs (except SD 615/810) compared to Mediatek Socs, having seen the GPU scores, battery efficiency, owned actual devices with SD/MTK chipsets. I would not go anywhere near MTK powered mobiles unless new ones (MTK P10, MTK X20 etc) prove to be better. So far, I did not find any MTK SoC to be a very good all-rounder - they all have serious flaws (particulary on GPU and battery efficiency).

For the specific comparison here - SD 801 vs MTK 6795 - I would choose SD 801 powered devices any day over MTK 6795 powered devices even if MTK 6795 powered devices are available at half the cost compared to SD 801 powered devices.

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2016you're wrong Well, Redmi Note 3 has better CPU power, but slightly inferior GPU. It does not have a card slot, which is a deal breaker. And it's battery life is average despite having huge battery. It is due to MTK 6795 being very poor in battery efficiency. So we cannot say Redmi Note 3 is better than One Plus X in all aspects.

Anonymous, 28 Jan 2016name one, and it better not be some cheap mediatek oneHmm, agree with you that there are no better phones available as of now. The closest is - Moto X 2nd Gen 16GB which is available for INR 15,000, but then it does not have SD card slot and 2GB RAM. So not necessarily better. I will not consider any of the SD 615 powered heaters, they all have 2 disadvantages (1. Heating, 2. Far Inferior GPU).

Le 1s is definitely better on the CPU, close on GPU, but then it is mediatek 6795 powered one. And Mediatek 6795 is definitely poor on battery efficiency. So until Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro with SD 650 comes out, this is the best available phone in that price bracket as of now.
