Google can buy HTC to make Nexus.Because HTC is so weak in this time.The stock also is cheap.Good luck Google.

And if everything is not just a donut artificially?
Many under the hood is in this reaction Google.Basically it is unnatural, because, in my opinion, not that other, as a game image.

Look at recent Exynos phones they are practically useless in dev community. Nexus S was an ok phone just ok, Galaxy Nexus was an overpriced, mid range phone which lacked in so many ways to its rivals from HTC, Sony and Sammy themselves. LG was a much better choice, i would prefer Sony over it but LG was still good.

Love this idea as last two nexus phones were such a c..p devices.
Nexus shall go for top of the range variants and not just for some specs.

There's no difference between Google and Apple. Both of them will get out in front of him suddenly losing Xiaomi, Meizu, etc.
It ended with their domination and including Samsung. Ready. Come back true manufacturers of smart phones ..:)

Any rumor has a complete truth in him. So in this case it with Google. I do not understand why not produce phones alone. The capital you have, as they say, they can build a company cell phones just for them.

Google should have own capacities in order to manufacture the phones. Otherwise we cannot impose anything on anyone.

Nexus 6 has the best build (for me); some aluminum and some plastic. Feels nice and has good grip - even with dry hands. The 6-inch screen is also very nice when the bezels are as small as they are on this phone. I'm not going to downgrade to a smaller screen anymore and not going to buy another all-aluminum piece of soap again.

Just, they don't listen buyers and always release phones with deal breakers... Also that pricing in the us and Europe is ridiculous. Nexus 5 was perfect phone because it was cheap, perfect sized, perfect performance, "bad" camera, its maybe a decent camera and we didn't need to pay extra money for camera. That's a huge plus, and this phone was successful. Nexus 6 was a fail, because of too big screen and massive pricing - total deal breaker. Nexus 6p and nexus 5x has problems too... Nexus 6p has some build quality issues like bending, cracking back glass, dunno why that glass is there... also screen is 5.7 big for most of people also would be a downgrade for Motorola people who has 6 inch already, for such a flagship they could have gone with 4gb ram, why didn't they? Also put sd810 was a deal beaker for more people even it runs okay now, but has a bad reputation. if i were google, Would have released 5x at September and nexus 6p at feburary-march with new sd820. Nexus 5x has only 2gb ram? really? camera and fingerprints sensor looks like periscope, it is not an upgrade from nexus 5 really Same GB ram, wouldn't update my nexus 5 to nexus 5x, not worth. So these small issued makes Google reputation be really bad. They have to look for compact sized phones too, with best specs, just like Sony z series.

Any sane manufacturer/assembly company would still go along with it as long as there's a profit in it for them.
You don't see Foxconn crying because Apple don't add their name to the iPhone...
