Well, i love my 4.7 inch Idol 3 and it's screen size is just perfect for me so i don't care about Idol 4. Why Alcatel didn't do smaller screen size version anymore. I mean, 5.2 inch is not in compact category anymore but i guess smartphone market has recently moved to at least 5 inch zone, which is unfortunate, imo. Anyway, i just hope Idol 3 don't get abandoned software support wise and will get at least Marshmallow update or even N update in the future. I think Marshmallow is already confirmed for Idol 3 models.
