I'd like to know what Samsung marketing team were smoking while deciding the prices of these phones.
30k for a phone that is bettered by an 11k phone is a bad joke. Snapdragon 615??
17k for the A5 and 22-23k for the A7,this is what the pricing should have been.
You can be sure the prices are going to fall like a rock in a couple of months. Fanboys might want to hold off their purchase for a little longer and save some money in the process!

Dear Samsung what were you trying to sell? A glass body and design? This is really not justified. A7 at 33400?????? You could have put a better chip in this phone to make justification to your launch price.

Samsung is in stall speed obviously, especially lately. The company's strategy is to try to refresh all their phones and try to sell as many as possible in Asian areas. In my opinion, this strategy is wrong. They will bring great losses.

All you say "Overpriced" and you can say that because there are 100 Chinnese phones with 100 USD price, but hey Samsung is not a Chinnese Brand. The new A series is more beautiful than S6 and with better one of most useful feature, the battery.

too bad India received the snapdragon variant... in Malaysia we got to the EXYNOS variant which is better.. but still it's price, ridiculously high.

Thud class fone with first class price. 30K for mid range phone ? Sammy you are kidding ? You think people have lot of money to buy this crap ? Right after purchase the device cost drops by 40% at least. Please launch it at 22K. Else please never bring these devices in market just for accumulation of dust on them.

Not at all surprised. It's a launch price. As usual, the price will fall after some time. People are smart enough to wait for price drop. Only fools will buy at launch price.

For almost $500 people could actually afford a S6 in India. There are lot of other great options for less than that price.

My dear Samsung,
Hopefully u are unaware of the fact that S6 is selling at 30k INR, which is actually cheaper than the A7..
top class camera, wireless charging, high end chipset, 2k amoled... Lastly, its the flagship from your brand...
Let me end with a soft note here..

i thought these phones would cost around 25k. but they copied microsoft in pricing these phones. Overpriced.... features are really stunning.. but price.. if i move from windows phone only samsung is the alternate.. disappointed.. wondering what will be the price of A9.. OMG...

it's already available in Indonesia
- Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) is Rp. 3.9mio. (approx. USD 285)
- Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016) is Rp. 5.2mio. (approx. USD 375)
- Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) is Rp. 6.5mio. (approx. USD 465)
and, yes, it's kinda overpriced.
you better get the S series or the Note series.
(last year's Galaxy Note 4 is still available for Rp. 7mio / appox. USD 500)
