Model E2363 finally updated to 6.01 in UK via Xperia Companion. All good, faster performance and better battery life. Shame it took so long, but almost worth the wait!

having problems with the update. keeps on saying i have to turn off some overlay settings but when i tried to turn it off, nothing's happening. can't use some apps because of this.

I looked at the Sony site on their system upgrade page and for the M4 Aqua they said the marshmallow update can only be done over a computer to the phone.

Go to the Sony site on your computer,search for the M4aqua marshmallow update info and download the program there which allows you to download the marshmallow update on to your computer and then connect your phone to your computer and follow directions to upgrade your M4 Aqua phone to Marshmallow. I noticed that Marshmallow has been available already quite some time for the M4 Aqua in certain regions.
However today I also noticed explanation on Sony's page that there will NOT be over-the-air (OTA) update for M4 Aqua. One has to get a PC/Mac computer, and install Sony Compantion software to be able to upgrade to Marshmallow.
Quite disappointed how old fashioned and tedious such upgrade procedure is, but I guess I'll be doing my upgrade soon.
