I tried updating my phone with companion but when i get to the point where it says now turn off your phone and then press and hold volume down key while connecting your device nothing happens

Good news everyone, I live in UK🇬🇧and o updated my m4 to marshmallow yesterday night.. Its work great now I love it the interface everything has changed about the phone you're going to love marshmallow..
First what you need to do, download Sony PC companion on your laptop, connect your phone to the USB outlet, open the PC companion app after installation.. The PC companion should recognise ur m4 aqua immediately and should show a message that a new software available for your phone that you should download the software and the rest mate follow the on screen instructions for completion.. Kind regards everyone..

Anonymous, 02 Oct 2016Any idea on when the E2333 will be getting the update? 😕 it... moreIn certain regions it is not available yet BUT to make sure you can try this:http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/xperia-companion/ This will make you download sony xperia companion tool,install it,connect your device (and wait for 5 Min. or so) till the companion tool detectes it,backup your device then check for software update (via home of the app.).
hope this helps; Note:you will not get a notification in your phone directly about android 6.0 availability (even if it is available).

Marshmallow update is yet to release for M4 Aqua and other models. Users are waiting for this update for a long time. But Sony recently announced Nougat update schedule for its new Models.
