I just want to laugh at Apple because of their stupid brain's... So, DO YOU THINK THAT it is because of Apple every Phone Company changes towards the thingy that Apple develop?? No!! That is b**ls**t my friends... To develop something is to make new OR INNOVATION technology, not even the Apple revolutionised their product as well as any other companies in the world.. Apple also learn from other manufacture before their release their own product.. CAN U SEE THAT???? They need time, value and people who can afford their products and thats what nokia was doing now...! Not Apple because their targets is not that so call "CHEAPER" product... YOU MUST LEARN THAT BOY....

Palm has been doing touch screen and apps for ages.
HP has been making smartPDAs which also acts as phones.
the difference is, apple managed to make all of them look good to the masses (not only business types) and hype it up.
the only thing that apple really came up with is the FormFactor and the OS.
Quit trying to sue others and say that apple did them all.

To be honest I never saw this much hostility in the phone world until Apple jumped in. Samsung is more of a threat to Nokia in terms of market share and I do no see this kind of legal action between those two.
Apple did not create patent infringement litigation but the market sure seems full of it since they arrived.

i find it weird that everyone gives credit to apple for touch screen because one of the first and best touch screens i ever seen was on a htc, the tytn had touch and full qwerty keyboard and they just keep getting better, so i think claiming apple is the only one changing the industry is a little off

counter claim being prepared as we sit here and argue about who's better. Nokia's new on the touch screen phone market so to claim Nokia make better TS phones is ridiculous.
Nokia and Apple should sit down and exchange ideas coz at this rate Nokia is falling behind every year that passes by.
All there Touch screen Nseries phones have been pretty bizarre by today's standard N8 looks promising but not holding my breath.
Law suits are just a way of trying to slow the Apple surge down, if they win this one Nokia is effectively back in business but good luck Nokia.

Apple has been very lenient in the past three years on just letting other phone manufacturers copy their ideas and innovations. What's worse is, non iphone users don't even give Apple the recognition and respect for pushing other manufacturers to improve their platforms. The mobile industry wouldn't be the way it is right now if not for the iphone. It's just right that Apple should make a stop being taken advantaged of on features that obviously Apple was the only one with the brains creative enough to have put together what they've done on the iphone. As for Nokia, sorry, but you guys are not the only one who have the technical brains to make use of hardware space efficiently. And if Nokia fans would say that Nokia has been making touchscreen phones before Apple, I'm sorry, but Nokia themselves didn't believe in full touchscreen phones. Not until after the iphone at least. Now what does that tell you?

apple iphone 3gs costs apple 179$ for the 16 gb and around 230$ for the 32 gb and they selling it factory unlocked for around 900$ they are just PUNCH OF THEIVES !

It's either the majority goes with what they have to offer, or not. Obviously, there are a good number of users who favor their business decisions. It's all relative. Restrictions are there so they can provide better services for their users. Because of those restrictions, Apple is able to properly account their sales. They're able to provide better profit to artists, developers, and their official carriers. They can better provide a more accurate census of all their products. They're alble to provide better customer support. They can provide better warraties to their customers. There is no monopoly in that. Before you judge Apple, maybe you should first try to understand better why Apple does things the way they do.

It's a crime against humanity!!!! I just can hope that they end up loosing and have to share their patents with nokia, that would be very amusing to teach them to respect the work of others and no only theirs own... Lately I last all the respect I had for apple for their angry attitudes against other companies and even supporters, I just hope they keep going on that track until everybody turn their back to them.
