Apple selling point is their touch screen & app store
Apple claims the UI is the best user UI around but, that UI is Xerox technology.

I love how GSMarena are pointing people towards their iPAD blogs i've just been reading them there are alot of crazy people out there who seem to get angry over anything, same here with people wanting such a company to lose, unless you own major shares in either Nokia or Apple the outcome shouldn't matter to any of us. As a consumer i want the best mobile/gadget regardless of what company it comes from.

I am so tired of hearing about these companies suing each other... If anything I believe it is apple who is causing so much tension do to their aggressive nature and monopoly here in US. basically Apple wants to call dibs on all technology in America and forcing any kind of competition out. Other manufacturers will most likely stick to Europe & Asia as primary markets. Thanks to the internet I can always import real high tech phones from overseas, And not purchase what Steve Jobs tries to convince me to be the highest tech phone out there....

They missed out another case that Nokia filed against Apple. It's the use of the letters I, O, & N in the word Iphone because it is already in Nokia. Nokia feels that Apple should pay them royalties for using those letters in the alphabet. Either Apple pays, or Apple need to develop theiw own alphabet :)

So let me get this right. Apple steals patents from Nokia and people are telling Nokia to stop complaining and make better tech? So It is ok to steal according to u guys? If Apple developed this themselves, then fine good on them, but trying to advance themselves by stealing "work done" by other companies, is not the way to go.

Nokia are not really losers, the thing is that Apple has made up their mind to ride on technologies of other people, when it suits them best they would like to sue others but it has been for a longtime that Nokia is a mobile fon company apple just recently got into the mobile race there all the technologies from making calls to receiving calls, wi-fi and all these was developed by nokia and some others, if apple want to get into that business they need to pay.Other mobile companies have been paying quietly so i see no reason for apple to try and play smart and not pay, this just common sense i am sure if it was the other way round nokia would have to pay to survive in this mobile business.

Is this the best Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo can come up with! Nokia should be concentrating on making better phones. Iphone has set the standard it's up to Nokia to try and beat em, forget all these law suits and make phones.
